Choose Two:
[ ] Wasabi - Big hero six in, waaaaant
[ ] Hans Rotwood- okay, honestly we have a few occult and likely to finally get our ghost uncle soon and I doubt his occult is that high
[ ] Alan Bradley - Computers, waaaaaant
[ ] Roddy Blair, King of Lairs - Stewardship, waaaaaant

[ ] Wasabi
[ ] Alan Bradley

These two interest me the most; we've been talking about hiring GoGo for a while, and Alan would come in handy if we want to start competing with ENCOM. The other two can wait in our rolodex until we need them.

'Professor' Hans Rotwood Learning (and Occult???) hero with experience in the humanities and an obsession with proving the existence of magical beings
---
Wasabi Stewardship and Learning hero, graduate from SFIT, expert in optics
---
Alan Bradley Learning hero with strong digital focus. Knows the ins and outs of network design and security.
---
Roddy Blair, King of Lairs Top of the Line, super-sensible Super-Architect and Stewardship Hero

So of the four, only Wasabi and Roddy are stewardship heroes. I'd rather have Uncle Mal and the Glooms for Occult and we're already really strong on learning, so leaning towards Wasabi and Roddy.

GIVE ME RODDY BLAIR AND WE CAN MOVE OUR CASTLE NEXT TURN.

Also looking at it Wasabi is Big Hero 6, Hans is American Dragon Jake Long, and Alan is obviously Tron.

I'm favoring Roddy and......Alan I guess. He'd be our computer expert.

Personally, Roddy feels like a must have. We came into this for a stewardship hero, let's get this really good one.

50-50 on Wasabi and Alan. I like BH6 plus it's an in to the San Fransokyo stuff, but the Tron tease is interesting too

[ ] Wasabi
[ ] Hans Rotwood
[ ] Alan Bradley
[ ] Roddy Blair, King of Lairs
Big Hero 6 - one of the main heroes and a specialist in plasma-based technology

American Dragon Jake Long - an antagonist and occasionally deauteragonist (think Mr. Lancer from Danny Phantom) who is a bit of a genius but has also had his credibility ruined by his countless (sometimes nearly-successful) attempts to prove the existence of the magical world. Also, just to edit this in since it's a big misconception, he CAN hold a secret about magic's existence once being given reason against it.

Tron - Alan is an ENCOM programmer and was one of the company's top executives up until the 90s. I don't know much about him, because my main experience with Tron is second-hand knowledge and KH2 and KH DDD.

BH6 cartoon - Roddy Blair is directly connected to Fred's dad, Boss Awesome, and excels at building and upgrading lairs.

My money is on Alan and Rotwood, though you should probably do Roddy + Wasabi if you want to focus on BH6 stuff with Fred, Gogo, and the lady who might be Honey Lemon.

Wasabi would be incredible if we wanted to do fusion, which I don't think we do, and a decent choice otherwise. I don't hate the idea but it's not my favorite.
Rotwood doesn't interest me, not when we don't want to break the masquerade just yet.
Alan Bradly would stack advantages and help incalculably if we go against ENCOM, but I don't currently plan to do so.
Roddy Blair seems perfect, both for upgrading DEI's defenses and for moving the castle.

I think I want Roddy Blair, and either Alan or Wasabi. Any strong opinions on which?

Roddy is a nessesity just due to Doof's reaction. This is one of his role models and inspirations. I cannot see him not hiring him before he leaves that room.

Alan watches the lines of code cross his high-definition monitor. The information requires a degree of interpretation, but is otherwise stating the facts as they are. ENCOM was severely set back by the viral surge and their efforts to slow them down, but Master Control has already moved on to his next major operation.

Whatever "ENCOM Legacy" was, it was going to be something big.
I think the GM snuck in a major hint here.

We just told Russ we were gonna try and keep the Masquerade under wraps. Hiring someone who wants to blow the Masquerade right open seems ... counterproductive, shall we say.

As likeable and superheroic as Wasabi is, he doesn't seem to bring too much to the table that's really ... special? Alan brings us news on what ENCOM's really up to (eventually), as well as potential ways to fight back if they start going hard on us, or the rest of America. This "ENCOM Legacy" sounds like something we should get on top of! Meanwhile, Blair just seems ... fun, honestly?

Right, Alan and Wasabi are my two big picks. Alan lets us start catching up to ENCOM in the digital arms race. Wasabi is a stewardship hero, he's connected to Gogo and BH6, and he could probably use a less stressful work environment. Hell, Janna would probably remind him of Gogo.

Also... who do you think he recommended to Khan as a replacement?

I'd like to hire Roddy next turn; but Alan and Wasabi are my two big picks here.

I don't think thats true, Remember all of the OS updates, as well as DoofOs and Social Media platform were all stewardship actions. I'd like someone to bridge the gap

Choose Two:
[ ] Wasabi -I'd like wasabi, but I don't think we really need him right now
[ ] Hans Rotwood - not looking for this that much
[ ] Alan Bradley - WANT OS
[ ] Roddy Blair, King of Lairs - WANT, MOVE THAT CASTLE BOYS!

Roddy Blair comes with his own epiteth, he's in.

As for the others, Hans Rotwood seems like one of those units with high growth potential under Doof's influence, and massive amounts of loyalty gain for doing things we want done anyways. That said, as things are we currently don't need him, so we can come back to him after we recruit the other people in the priority list.

Alan Turing opens up a whole other subplot. He knows about MCP, and knows a lot about coding, so he can actually make competing with ENCOM worth it. He can help protect DoofOs from the MCP, probably has a trait similar to Mirage's to act against ENCOM, and once we have his trust, he can tell us what the SHIVA laser sitting in our basement is for.

Not all that interested in Wasabi to be honest. He's likely to get lost in the shuffle of mid-tier Learning Heroes we've got going on.
