I'm proud to present version 1.0 of the Doofquest Card Game! Basically, I made the hero cards into a playable card game, featuring 135 cards. Yes, I had too much time.

To be clear, this is not a replacement for the existing hero cards. Stats had to be heavily massaged for balance reasons. Also, I am not officially behind anything in this quest, this is just a fan work.

And if you're crazy enough to want to play this with somebody online, you actually can, via Cockatrice! To be clear, that won't enforce any rules, it's just a virtual tabletop, primarily for Magic the Gathering.

A full primer to Cockatrice is a bit beyond the scope of this post, but if you want to install the Doofquest cards, here's all you need to do:
Open Cockatrice, then under the card database menu at the top, "Open custom image folder." Put all of the card images there.
Same menu, "Open custom sets folder." Put this XML file there.
Restart Cockatrice. Same menu, "Manage sets." Disable everything except for Doofquest TCG.
Congrats, you're ready to build a deck!
