Not sure if anyone has brought this up yet but we probably will need to send some aid to the new trading post just to make sure they don't have any issues.

From what we know that's a standard dependency from a new TP, it looks like there was a quest we never saw from the traders to produce a NTP and the reward was to give it extra development, that's why it has walls already, without that it may have been at 6/4 dependency or something.

So I'm not sure if it needs too much extra attention.

Ughh, i forgot how annoying it is to do analysis posts without my actual desk and second monitor...doesn't help that i seem to be out of it cause i keep forgetting things... so analysis will have to come tomorrow i guess? for now, a few questions @Academia Nut :

-Is Tormulyna still alive, at least as far as rolls for a midturn Place to the Stars action goes?
-If we choose/get an admin hero or genius how likely is it for them to take over this coming turn?
-What were the modified stat results from teh study stars action, since you said it cost mysticism now?
-Did grand docks trigger canal?
-Did our policy wall lower valleyhome?
-Is the lone +1 in our wealth calculations from Iron Dominance alone like i thought last turn, or is it from Efficient Economy being listed now?

Don't we need to have over half of the total voters voting for this for it to win? According your tally, it has 33 out of 100 votes.
Needs to only stay above the Just one vote since the vote for FC's assumes more than one going by the wording. At least that's how I understand it.

preferably a midrange coastal town of ~20k people in size.
a boardwalk ~2 miles long. Either coastal or along a sizable lake; river boardwalks usually feel too chaotic unless they're in the middle of a city and you bought the churro from a food cart.
Preferably winter; the cold gives you an excuse to cuddle.
As a result, thickish but nice woolen jackets, at least one scarf that gets traded back and forth, gloves in pockets because holding hands w/ gloves is uncomfortable. Depending on economic status and age of relationship, lower body has either slacks (young relationship) or jeans (comfortable w/ each other).

Perhaps there is yet hope!

Please, I've read dozens of AU Highschool Slash Fanfics.

Clearly my knowledge of what's romantic is superior to yours.

And then hope dies....

We can also let them work it out on their own. They can do that independently; that is why the Dependency is Yellow and not Red.

If a majority of genius votes have a subvote, then the subvote with a plurality wins.
I don't know if that is how things are being judged, but if it is it doesn't make sense. It would mean that someone voting for Diplo or Cultural Genius would prefer an Admin Genius for -3 Culture over a Random Genius, which really isn't a reasonable interpretation.

AN said that was how he was doing it. So... switch your vote to have no subvote if you want to vote against something.

This is what AN has said on the matter:
Yes. If there is a situation where more than half voted for a subvote but there is a split, I will go for the most popular subvote.

AN's response seems pretty unambiguous to me:
Yes. If there is a situation where more than half voted for a subvote but there is a split, I will go for the most popular subvote.
All that matters is that 50% is achieved, not 50% for one choice. So yeah, change votes to no subvote if you want random.

I don't know, I think there's something romantic about self-sacrifice and eating your loved ones so they'll be a part of you forever~<3

The traditional route is to follow them to death, carry a memento, realise their dream, retreat into solitude, or produce a great work.

The eating them(a part or the ashes usually) is more of an honour and martial respect thing, or for occult and ritual purposes.

In that case, why are "only one" and "none" voting options?
For the case where:
  • 40% Redhills
  • 39% Redshore
  • 21% Both
Naively, the 21% will win since redhills and redshore each have ~60% of the vote. This lets those single-city voters choose to add Only One to their vote, which would rule out redshore.

think of it like someone looking at a checkbox
Do people want a genius over the other choices? If it has a plurality (nonbinary choice), it gets picked
do people want a chosen genius or not? If it has a majority (binary choice) it gets picked
do people want an admin hero over other choices? If it has a plurality (nonbinary choice) it gets pick

do people want an FC? If None has a majority (binary choice) it gets picked
do people want 1 or 2 FC's? If Only One has a majority (binary choice) it gets picked
how many FC's do people want? if one|two has a|_ plurality, it|they get picked

Guys we really should start of slow when it comes to doing new things so let us just have one free city for now and see how it goes.

[X] [FC] Just one FC

Yes.
Depends on who exactly they turn out to be.
Yes, it all ended up overflowing into Mysticism. There was some fine tinkering as I remembered things, so some stuff is probably off by a point or two.
The walls are mostly going to the periphery.
Iron dominance.

Yes, it looks like that is what he said. I'm hoping that there was a miscommunication somewhere because otherwise the system doesn't seem to make sense. :(
*shrug* It seems no less fair than assuming they would prefer random. I mean, random includes martial, which we need like a hole in the head.
