Well it some of it, however in this case the only one really breaking the law in the update is the tax collator and the girl.
Oh, yeah that's actually a good point so EJ may actually make it worse for people like Naha since they are breaking our laws.

Ain't that a horrible thought.

Fuck my life.

@Academia Nut - given how on mega project support it can only ever form 1 mega project viable action due to it needing to be a main and us currently having three province actions; is it possible to take a secondary megaproject action in our main turn so it can combine with the third province action, to form a usable action?

It's more the fact that we have systematic corruption and have had it for generations to the point that every native is used to it and knows how to avoid the traps while any newcomers are not used to it and are getting suckered into essentially wage slavery.
I'm reasonably sure that bar kicking the required megaprojects and burning through our stability we've done everything we can to address the corruption as speedily as possible. Also does the Census now cost Mysticism or is the refund doubled?

We NEED to up our stability. Low stability is both one of the causes of the issues we saw in this update, and also causes problems with our currently-red Martial.

Doubling RO followed by a secondary Proclaim Glory next turn is the best way to restore stability, and unless we get really unlucky, will should be back up to 3 stability and in position to kick off a golden age next turn. So lets do it already!

So was this corruption somehow generating a positive result and when rolled for what the result was it was a research breakthrough?

This will drop stability before it rises again. The stability drop will cause a martial problem because of our red overall martial. The legitimacy drop will cause our subordinates to move closer to breakaway(only an issue for the Txolla, really).

We don't really need a GA right now, what we need is either spending a buttload of econ or claiming the cataracts because we are at EE 3 , which is kinda pretty shitty

Use RoO and have our legitimacy drop and make our vassals leaving a huge risk?
In what way is having our legitimacy drop going to make our vessals leaving a "huge risk"? We've seen nothing to indicate that legitimacy drops are nearly that bad. I admit that it increases risk, but our risk of breakaway right now is near zero; the risk is that a crisis will put us in a position where that risk rapidly goes up. For now, denting legitimacy for all of one turn should be entirely safe.

Lets get our stability up and get the census started

Edit: Actually, enforce justice might be better considering the narrative

What makes you think the king or the blackbrirds will see something the matter with the situation?

Sorry, @pblur, but I want to delay the Dam now until after the Law.

I'm pretty sure it's now a cost. We can easily afford it, but it's unfortunate.

Nah, AN just wanted to work it into his narrative piece. He did a pretty good job, too! Emotional reactions all around.
The hell are you accusing me of promoting?
I think they're pointing out that at this point, the issue is systemic enough that what the People would consider "fixing" the issue is not what we would consider fixing it. After all, Nana's breaking the law here, bribing people! Better purge her!

On another note, I'm almost certain making more Blackbirds is how we get professional spies at this point, which would synergise pretty well with how the average Ymaryn thinks. We could just sabotage the Trelli internally?

Band aid is not bad! It means reduced suffering until the problem is solved! That's good!
A band aid at the cost of getting medicine to treat other wounds is a bad idea. We can't fix this until the laws are changed to take into account the massively different influences in our society.

Anything before then that tries to 'fix' this will only make it worse. EJ would punish the very people you want to help, RoO could cause a war and still would only help slightly at best, Festivals were needed a while ago, etc...

Focus on the Law if you want to help these people. Only a midturn action really has a chance to otherwise fix this right now.
