Gwygoytha also wouldn't be an eligible summon, as the Throne of Heroes only contains those still recognized by humanity. Rulwyna I or Rythulmyn are the first eligible heroes who could be summoned.
Man, nasu breaks the rules all the time. Shit can fly if you say it can, like how there used to be a rule about how moderny peoples couldn't be summoned, but now we've got Thomas Edison around as a furry. Just dig up some pottery and have a miracle of 'omg I'm a historian slash archeological guy and this pot depicting the story of a wild warrior woman just made my brain explode orgasmically' happen. There should still be records addressing older kings lying around somewhere.

Alternatively iirc counter guardians do not play by the same rules and neither does our hypothetical pocverse Throne of Heroes need to.

He was probably made into the god of cow or something.
Pfft!

That's fucking hilarious.

Hah!

Anyway I'll break the tie. Switch-eroonies!

[X][RA] Increase debates to determine the truth (-2 to +2 Religious Authority based on success of debates, potential shift in Spiritual Values)

[X][Low] Introduce black soil to improve their conditions (Teaches black soil to vassal)
[X][Low] Force them to follow the spirit of the law (Potential stability loss, potential war with vassal)
[X][Low] Introduce mill technology to improve their conditions (Teaches water mill to vassal)

[X][High] Extra tribute (+2 Prestige, +2 Wealth, probably completes this turn)

[X][RB] Deploy against Highlanders from Hatvalley

[X][React] Main Improve Annual Festival

[X][City] No

[X][Refugee] Bring in a bit more than usual (-1 Stab, potential further loss, +4-5 Econ)

I wonder if we have a Kings List like the ancient Sumerians did?

Is Gwygoytha remembered in our Tally Strata, which exist beneath the Tax Strata?

Scary thought, She could be the Tax Hero.

:o:o:o:o:o:o

AHHHHHHHH!

I was thinking something screwed the rule so that Earthlings summoned poc!Earth heroes instead.

Just another verse on the Kalidescope.

That's not even a bad rule break all things told considering some of the things that have happened.

I'd love to see Gwygoytha vs Gilgamesh though. The dialogue would be hilarious.

An omake idea I am too lazy to write:

The year is 20XX, and Earth is in trouble due to climate change and global warming. Thankfully, a series of portals opened up around the world, giving access to not!Earth.

When Earth began a dialogue with not!Earth, everyone in not!UN said, "Visit the Ymaryn. They will be able to deal with your climate change situation."

And so a diplomatic mission visited Valleyhome, which was by now an acrology, to learn from the Ymaryn who had cultivated a Ymaryn rainforest over the not!FertileCrescent and helped nations around the globe deal with their own climate change before it becomes worse.

The thread debate on votes feels like group of drunks driving a car in a thunder storm.

"You are going too fast slow down!"

"I can't slow down the brake is broken."

"Go on the other side of the road, i can heard a truck coming."

"Can you drive around the potholes? The bumps is damaging the undercarriage and making my behind swollen."

"Do we still have gas? I can't find the gas station for next 30 kilometers."

"Are we there yet? There's no food in the car."

And thus you see the true face of Civilization.

May Crow rest your soul.

? No we don't. We shut that down.
We do.

We were shutting down divine patronage. The step after divine right in our system.

Although one of his moves to secure the support of the priesthood was something she should consider making a ruling on before she passed on. Most People knew of the wise Mathulmyn, God of Kings, but there was still a longstanding disagreement over who was the King of Gods. Ylrulthyn had pushed forward the idea that, as the gods revealed their choice of human king through the voting of the chiefs and priests, the current King of the Gods was revealed through the aspect of the king.

This is Ylrulthyn taking the already extant concept of <the gods reveal their support of the human king>(divine right) and expanding that idea to say <The gods when they reveal their support of the mortal king, also reveal the King of the Gods when the mortal king wins> i.e Heavenly Bureaucracy resembles Mortal Bureaucracy.

There is also an earlier idea that the position of King is a sacred one. Might have been an AN WoG.

I have a theory. How do we know that the original Crow from the beginning was actually Crow? What if he was just a disciple/avatar of the real Crow who wanted to introduce himself to the Ymaryn?

Do you speak of the tribesman who strung crow feathers in his hair who Ashryn killed?

To be honest we do not. No proof one way or another if this is a low magic setting or a no magic setting.

I mean from one perspective we created Crow as he is today because we took the Hero, Crow the Tribesman, and eventually elevated him through the power and distortion of Mythology into a God. Heroic Deity development. Who then morphed enormously.

i would love to see the crope hat

Looks like it's 42:39 in no free city's favor. Truly another soon to be missed opportunity to rise the centralization ceiling. Oh well, fun turn coming up anyway.

We will see if this new group of nomads is going to upset the usual aggression pattern.

? No we don't. We shut that down.
As far as I understand the logic here on a likely progression, inside our particular system:

King is king because he can make people follow him <- We had this for a bit. Ashryn especially was this. What martial kings use to rule, by beating up or threatening to beat up folks. A very simple method and thought about kingship.

King is king because people think he is worthy to lead them. <- This is a big part of what we still have. Our elective kingship.

King is king because people think he is worthy and that the gods think he is worthy. <- What we have now and a form of divine right.

King is king because people think he is worthy, that the gods think he is worthy, and that the gods follow similar practices to mortals with specific gods acting as running-buddies. <- What we could have had with divine patronage.

... Many steps later.

That running-buddy evolves into a Incarnated God-King system where the mortal king is thought to be a rebirth of a God on Earth. <- What we could have or might still develop. Similar to Pharohs and Horus in ancient Egypt.

This progression is way different in other cultures though. E: though thinking about it this progression is kinda misleading, so I will clarify. The second and third steps on the progression were probably simultaneous and synonymous.

Well that pattern has been off for some time, considering the HH. E2: also 42 v 41 in favor of no right now going by NetTally.
