Agreed. I am of the opinion that the whole "sanity check everything" SOP the thead has isn't adding value in most cases. If we want to emphasize something then it's not particularly helpful.

I am not opposed to additionally tossing a throwaway sanity check at the top of the update however. I'll plan on doing that.

warn itachi oro thought kisame might commit suicide afterwards?
have naruto do a war council to get everyone in leaf help strategize. risks leaf reputation if hazou dislikes the council plan (ex: they don't want to help itachi/kisame) and tells 7path different plan.
hazou can ferry communications for dog boss. have dog clan do war council. i expect all bosses to be doing this anyway.

is crow boss here? if itachi here and crows not interesting implications.

Skywalker seals alone aren't nearly enough, and Hazou doesn't have a supply of Boss-sized sandals ready. While he frantically tried to commission something out of Leaf artisans that had never seen a summon, much less a Boss summon, he was eventually reassured that most Bosses and any summon elites brought along have ways of fighting against flying enemies (as otherwise, the flying clans would rule the Path).

Does Hazou think that his Out-senses refined by sneaking around the Dragons so often would meaningfully help detect the Dragons if they attacked while the Bosses et al. are still preparing?

Hazou does not think that his senses will be remotely comparable to what the Bosses are able to bring to the table.

Was Pantsā interested? His society has clothing IIRC, even if he isn't that big.

Do specifically Cannai, Enma, and the Toads have something as good or better than skywalkers? I don't really care about the rest

  • Privately inform Cannai about Itachi's jutsu theft abilities.
    • Avoid making any suggestions to whether he should hold back his best stuff (versus maximizing firepower) or tell the others. He's more qualified to decide that than we are.
    • Tell him about the rest of his and Kisame's abilities (from dossier).
      • We got this information secretly from Orochimaru.
      • Revealing any of it publicly may put heat on us.
    • Ask if he has any duties for us should he die.
Really, all we need is the first line but there's broader support from @RoadWild and @Inferno Vulpix for the rest of it too.

    • Explain Orochimaru's strategy to Kei, and have her consult the FS for optimization.
      • Suggest giving Hornets misterators full of dyed water & Party Trick seals to make the Mirror Dragon easier to see.
      • Similarly, have flyers fly at the Night Dragon and attach a net with low powered Earbusters or powerful chime seals. So that the combatants can at least (to hear it coming). Might need Oro's seals to prevent the net from disintegrating on contact.
    • Meet with Enma/Cannai on Kamehameha
      • Ask them if the Bosses claiming small parts of Arachnid would meaningfully support the war effort. Clan Bosses are incredibly powerful on their home territory
        • Hazou knows this is a huge ask for Kumokugo and the other Bosses and he wants to confirm it would be materially useful before taking it to her
        • He isn't asking for more details about the process, just wants confirmation if this is a good idea
        • Of course the other Bosses would swear the territory would be returned after the fight.
        • If viable, bring it to Kumokugo. Optimize that meeting with Mari and Kagome.
    • Ask Kagome to ensure there are sufficient skyslicers in Arachnid
    • Privately inform Cannai Itachi steals jutsu
    • Orochimaru: Jiraiya had portable darkness domes that obscured the contents of the interior. Do you have a similar seal we could give to Hornet drones with instructions to fly at the Beautiful Dragon? Other sensory seals like a portable silence mine might help too. Reducing its sensory attack vectors.
      • Check with Tower/Kagome to first to see if they have something.
      • Apologize for the presumptuousness, but suggest that the since the Shifter Dragon is always looking it might be a good target for mental attacks (like genjutsu or those nasty cannibal seals).
  • DRAGONWAR
    • Progress the timeline until the DRAGONWAR
    • Stay out of the way, but be prepared to support as needed
