On Thread Etiquette:

I'm not going to weigh in on the logic of either side's arguments, but I will ask that everyone read over what they write and really consider if the words they used are polite and won't be inflammatory intentionally or not. You cant account for people's tolerances perfectly but at least try to say your piece without saying things that can be easily construed as overly dismissive of the other side of the argument, thank you.

Please endeavour to be cordial. :^)

[X] [Campaign] Continue the offensive. Campaign goes high level and my rolls will solely be for how things generally play out + Snorri fighting any heroes/big bads. After a city falls/you suffer a defeat, a similar vote will happen until you return home or all targetable cities are destroyed.
- [X] Against the Nurglish City
[X] [Various Bits] Give some to Karstah.
-[X] The Needle: While the needle never seems to run out of thread, that's only the case if the sewer in question isn't speeding through things, in which case they can indeed find themselves out of material.
[X] [Various Bits] Keep it. Onto the pile it goes. Gain Research.
- [X] The Drinking Horn: A constantly refilling horn of liquid? Useful. Novel. Blasphemous! Clearly, it uses magic, but who in their right mind would make sweet alcohol with merely magic?
- [X] The Cauldron Fragments: They appear to be pieces of several Cauldrons in varying states of deconstruction, some of which seem to constantly drip a particularly tasty broth without end. The imagery and aesthetics on the outside is markedly different, but from what the Brana have sniffed off it, these were likely the precursor to those wretched things the Fimir used to revive the dead and dying into monstrosities.
[X] [Hammer] Give it to Karstah: To give her such an opportunity is a sign of immense trust in her capabilities. Comparable to the Dragon corpse you gave her, likely even moreso. Reagents are used up and organs rot, but knowledge, after all, can be kept forever. Karstah will use her free time to research this. You will also get the results of her research while she gains expertise and experience. If Karstah already has a lot to research then getting research rewards will be delayed.
[X] [Helmet] Give it to Karstah: your heir may have this helmet to do with as she wishes. Gain, bonus to research time if Hammer is also given to Karstah.

I dropped out and missed a lot but there's one thing I'd like to know. Have you made a golem yet? I wasn't able to find a hint of that in your achievements page though you did have a go at making gromril chainmail much easier to do.
We have made two gronti-duraz *, both side effects of going all in on building projects. You can find them in the Informational post Creations of Note under War Machines. They're called the Miner and the Maiden.

*Dwarven golems.

The height of Albion civilization must have been pretty damn ridiculous.
They were. Albion per old ones plans were center of learning for humans and humans who learned there could rival elven wizards/socereses.

Albions soothsayers looket at Dragontamers ritual for Vortex and concluded it wont be suficient and erected system of menhirs to replicate Vortexs magic drain on smaler scale but drain magin in ground rather than back in warp.
They did this knowing full well that it will fuck up Albions wether and transform it from sunny land perfect for farming to rainy, foggy swamps.

[X] [Hammer] Give it to someone else.
-[X] Clan Winterhearth: Your Kin. Such a gift? They will go above and beyond to see your dream come to fruition. Gain +1 action a turn towards Khazagar until its completion.

Because the action-economy option is always the right option. I am utterly flabbergasted that no one else appears to give a shit about blatantly-the-best-option, while continuing to lament our action backlog.

I'm tempted to suggest we wield the hammer in battle against the Fimir to help avenge the dead Dawi's Grudge. After all, Snorri used to dual wield an axe and hammer, no reason he can't dual wield hammers right now. Since there are no problems gifting it to others, there shouldn't be any issues with wielding it in battle ourselves. And I suspect the one who made the hammer would rest easier if Snorri used it as a coup de grâce on the next Meargh.
The only issue I can see is how the Runes on our equipment would interact with the ones on this new weapon.

Also, these are Fimir, not the daemons themselves. They ain't gonna infight all that much.
As I understand it they infight quite a lot actually.
Each of these cities represent a separate (probably feuding clan). Notice that nobody has attempted to reinforce each other.
One lead for this is starting an Understand Project to Understand Purification into a Weapon rune,
Do we actually believe that or is this a multi wound specifically against daemons?

Again you are left wondering if some of the loot can be, eh, offloaded onto a certain young Dwarf who has expressed interest in some of what you've found and with little better to do. Karstah will use her free time to research this. You will also get the results of her research while she gains expertise and experience. If Karstah already has a lot to research then getting research rewards will be delayed.

I've voted my "serious vote" above as I like seeing scenes with Karstah and want to see more of her growth and progress. However, I was sorely tempted to do a write-in vote of "Give the Hammer and Helmet to Vragni to flex on him".

Not sure why you're asking for clarification. Yes, I believe Purification is a lead to generalized Multi-Wound effects against many types of creatures and monsters due to its sheer power. It will likely have to be part of a Combo, but that's fine; I want a combo to make it manifest as a laser anyway. Xepheria and a few others were thinking similarly IIRC.

... Surely the power requirement would need to be altered, any weapon we can only use once over an entire campaign isn't a good plan unless its going to do something like 6 wounds at that time.

I would rather attack the Khornates first, i'm afraid they will set out on campaign themselves and hit us while we siege the nurglite city.
