On Thread Etiquette:

I'm not going to weigh in on the logic of either side's arguments, but I will ask that everyone read over what they write and really consider if the words they used are polite and won't be inflammatory intentionally or not. You cant account for people's tolerances perfectly but at least try to say your piece without saying things that can be easily construed as overly dismissive of the other side of the argument, thank you.

Please endeavour to be cordial. :^)

It's so hard to pass up good loot, but we have so much to do and not nearly enough time to do it all.

As for the city, I'm going to choose Slaaneshi. Tactically, corralling and destroying the more mobile force when our force is, fundamentally, slower seems like a sound plan, and to my understanding, Slanneshi forces would be the ones most likely to be mobile from the options.

We have a fair amount of research to do, but this is an 'if you want a job doing properly, do it yourself' scenario. If the sword is impressive enough for Snorri to note its quality, it's something that he should personally investigate,

If there was an option to give it to Snerra to investigate, I'd take it, but there isn't, so Snorri it is.

You know, I wonder how Karstah Negaverse is taking the fact that her dad declined their suggestion to undermine the city in order to instead drop directly down onto the archmage out of nowhere and murder the shit out of it by himself.

Not exactly the kind of option that you could come up with on your own, I think.

I don't think this is even an American Vs English spelling difference. I think you're just wrong.
What? Unfazed means not being affected by something. Unphased means... well i am not sure what it means but its related to phases, so i guess to change something with phases to something with no phases.

This is true for both UK English and US english i think. I would need to look up a dictionary. Either way the previous poster is right.

Technically speaking they're different but you can probably use them as synonyms and 99% of people won't notice.

Well, my eyes certainly went over them without noticing, because when you read fast, you don't necessarily even read, you just see words and fill out a sequence without really looking much.

But grammatically, only one of those is correct.

[X] [Campaign:] Continue the offensive.Campaign goes high level and my rolls will solely be for how things generally play out + Snorri fighting any heroes/big bads, because man am I tired. After a city falls/retreat, a similar vote will happen until you return home or all three cities are rubble.

[X] [Blade] Give it to Karstah to study.
Karstah will use her own personal time outside of your official duties for her to uncover the mysteries of this blade, how long it takes, if at all, depends on Karstah's own ability. Potential new Rune developed, Karstah will gain expertise.

[X] [Corpse] Give some to Karstah. Karstah gets a portion of the corpse, she will use it for something. A fitting reward for your heir you reckon, and admittedly you wanted to see what she could do with it. While the contents of your vault are technically her inheritance, she must ask you for material, and you certainly don't plan on dying anytime soon. This would be wholly hers to do with as she wished.
-[X] The whole corpse. You have enough already, let Karstah see what she can create from this.

Welp sucks that it happened, but it seems the fimir have been the first to find the creatures of men first. What with Snorri saying that they were too big to be a dwarf, yet looked nothing like the elves he sees, with a perfectly apt description of a man and his family. Joy.

I'd be all for studying the sword except we already have way too much shit on our plate. We haven't even touched the Fate rune, for example. It'll just be another addition to our backlog that won't be touched for literal real life years.

We could just table the sword and return it when we find who we seek. We wouldn't appreciate if someone studied weapons they pilferred of our fallen, so not messing with it could easily be shelved less as "don't have time for it" and more "do unto others as others do unto you". It doesn't sound gucci without asking for permission, unless its from an enemy.

Guys, that sword may not be of human make, remember how the albionese were charged by the great old ones with the defense of the great oghams? That sword might be one of their relics- like the sort presented in the albion misadventure in the other Best Warhammer Quest. Given that Snorri didn't vomit a little upon seeing it like most dwarves would at Umgi weaponry...

Albionese humans were taught by the Old ones. At this point in time, they have secrets that only the Slann have, in a friendlier, more sociable package.
