Mirage changes all of our actions. So, we cannot assume that people will be retrying next turn based on that.Hero units that failed their actions this turn MUST take those actions again on the next as 102-E grows used to his power. If an action is for any reason not available, that hero loses their action.
DCsWe need Wiley on Kat
We Need Monogram on DOI
We need Alan on gal fed computers
We need Gomez on Coven
What happens after 102-E grows used to their power? Nothing, as in their impact on the quest would have been just this one time affect? Or will amassing a bunch of experiments that have grown used to their power increase Jumba's stat block, or something? Or building a menagerie of experiments that can be used as some kind of army?
Some experiments may stick around with Jumba's coterie or otherwise find their One True Place TM. Jumba's not exactly character developed enough to go doing it himself at the moment though. What happens after 102-E grows used to their power? You're not giving into the fearmongering. New info came up which forced us to adjust, but that doesn't mean the old bad arguments for the On-Ice-Inator were any better.[X] Potion of Haste
[X] The On-Ice-inator! Doofenshmirtz cryogenically freezes himself for two months as a proof of concept. Next turn, Mirage is in charge of DEI! King stats and National Actions will be changed to reflect this!
I swear to whatever deity exists, I am doing this under protest! I hate the fact that we essentially have to downgrade our main hero unit and risk a lot of our gains, plus the whole thing feels like running in a way. Plus, with Mirage at the helm, this could go a way Doof won't like once he wakes up, and that just makes me nervous. Plus, we won't get another chance at a crit turn after this, so I'm also pissed about that.
Also, the fact that I am, in a way, giving into the fear-mongering just sets my teeth on edge
Phineas and Ferb write-in - find the one true place for all of Jumba's experiments. Some experiments may stick around with Jumba's coterie or otherwise find their One True Place TM. Jumba's not exactly character developed enough to go doing it himself at the moment though.
In short, I feel like this news about the experiment is an argument in favor of the Duplicatinator, not against.
...Oh, what the hell? "In for a penny", and all thatThe new info doesn't make the previous arguments for the Ice Inator any less fear-mongery or trash.
huh. I'm... unsure, but I'll roll with it. It's a lot more even now, I guess?[X] Potion of Haste
[X] The Duplicatinator! This inator replicates the effect of the last five inators rolled, all at once!
Probability Inator. Believe in the Heart of the Dice who believes in you!
Also, let's look at the actual effects here. Alan being stuck on computers is actually an argument in favor of the Duplicatinator, as we need Doof's Learning there. I think Wiley just ends up losing his action next turn, as the results text for this turn implied "look for Kat" would be unavailable with the whole "Whelp, nothing we can do but hope Xany finds him" thing. Monogram also likely just loses his action, as I imagine the write-in that we had him take won't be available after this massive failure. And Gomez being on Coven duty also benefits more from Doof than Mirage, with his "use half of your Learning" trait.
In short, I feel like this news about the experiment is an argument in favor of the Duplicatinator, not against.
Or he might still decrypt the computer, but not remember that he caused the files to have been deleted, so he'll be surprised when it's already wiped clean.A sudden thought is that Alan's natural critfail may have resulted in him finding the equivalent of delete_all and wiping the computers, so I expect that we may not get a second try here.
he might have also activated a quarantine routine on the computer too.... hopefully its not a driver wipe or alerting the Galfed.......A sudden thought is that Alan's natural critfail may have resulted in him finding the equivalent of delete_all and wiping the computers, so I expect that we may not get a second try here.
the problem is that we're partially screwed with either one. Mirage's learning on Alan trying the computers again basically guarantees a crit fail, plus we don't know which intrigue actions can be repeated[X] Potion of Haste
[X] The On-Ice-inator! Doofenshmirtz cryogenically freezes himself for two months as a proof of concept. Next turn, Mirage is in charge of DEI! King stats and National Actions will be changed to reflect this!
I'm sorry, but after how the rolls have been, I'd rather not take any chances.
Jumba can, its only failed actions and experiment, as a PA can't failBut hell with it, i was in favor of On-Ice Inator, but if we cant have Jumba do something else next turn, lets just go with take 5!
oh man THANK YOU!!!!Jumba can, its only failed actions and experiment, as a PA can't fail
