Did Aida and Inoue already leave or can we ask them to come with us? I swear we're not planning to turn them over to the ANBU, we'll vouch for them 100%
 
We should inform someone of Isan's second and third missing-nin before they do something stupid that cast into question yuno's legality.
 
This plan features lots of punching and a lot of catharsis. I'm happy to include debriefing activities and a huntymoon, but that's all secondary.

[X] Action Plan: Fuck it, Vengeance
  • Aida Rin and Aida Mochiaki represent strategic intelligence assets who possess foreign jutsu, physiology, and intimate knowledge of the inner workings of an organization with which Leaf will shortly be engaged in negotiations.
  • They have been exiled from their village and will likely be unable to avail themselves to the resources of their clan. As such, they are deeply vulnerable.
  • The Isan Team should begin stalking them, prioritizing the target they deem to have the highest value balanced with trackability if they split up.
    • The tracking should be a loose follow initially to avoid detection from either the targets or Isanese shinobi confirming the status of the exiled ninja.
    • Via the Seventh Path, we will discuss the potential of arranging an ANBU snatch squad so they can be discreetly captured and turned over to T&I.
      • If we are waved off, we will vanish and return home.
    • We would appreciate it if they could also be made to stand trial in Leaf for the crime of attempted murder and hostile action against official diplomats; however, this is explicitly a request.
    • If their persons or corpses are remanded to Orochimaru, we request that we are allowed to present them to him or Kabuto that we may inquire as to Lord Orochimaru's opinion on the Great Seal if he has one.

You are thinking too small, we odviously have to keep them healthy and whole in order to bait orochimaru when he starts getting too interested in us.

If I limit it to Kabuto, would you vote for it? I think that giving him a gift and asking a polite question is safe.

I'm flexible on this, broadly, but I don't want to give up the opportunity to actually give Orochimaru something he wants that he can't get elsewhere (ninja with 300 years of genetic drift) while it's in front of us.
 
Lest I forget: @Tua, please be aware that if a plan like your last one gets implemented, it will get an XP penalty for poor readability.

  1. Sanity check with Mari/Keiko.
  2. Isan Team:
    1. Hazou reports to Asuma. What does he want us to do? Suggestions:
    2. Track Rin and Mochiaki and arrange for an ANBU capture team. Provide assistance if sensible, without taking undue risk.
    3. Alternatively: use a "disguised as non leaf" operative to turn them into deniable assets for leaf.
  3. Hazou and Kagome:
    1. Exhaustively research rifts and dimensionalism. Consult with sealmasters. Read Jiraiya's notes, the Leaf Private Library, and anything else Asuma is willing to let Hazou access.
    2. Purchase copies of any seals that might behave at all differently at the site (diagnostic seals if possible, but generally anything that might behave differently).
    3. Once Mari is back to manage the clan in Hazou's absence, and if Asuma gives the green light:
      1. Hazou and Kagome go on a field trip to the site of the afterlife rift to examine it -- both for furthering their understanding of dimensional sealing in preperation for the Great Seal, and for evaluating the site's suitability for assisting in necromancy.
      2. If we could make better tools to get meaningful information from the rift, research them.
        1. In Leaf if possible
        2. If examining the site would help, research new tools there.
      3. Before leaving, use Iron Nerve to create a detailed diagram of the Great Seal to leave with the Leaf Sealmasters.
      4. Bring Noburi and Yuno, both as bodyguards, and in case Noburi's chakra sense is helpful at all in examining the site.
      5. Potentially also bring Sasuke and/or a hired Hyuuga, in case their cheating eyeballs might be helpful in examining the site.
      6. Potentially also bring one or more ANBU as bodyguards, if Asuma agrees. There is two sealmasters and a summoning scroll on the team.

As long as we are just asking Kabuto about Oro's opinion on the GS, I guess it's fine. We seriously want to be avoiding face-to-face(?) time with Oro.

Isan tamed the Tapirs. Maybe the Inuzuka clan was originally a small family that was exiled from Isan, and used their Isan-knowledge of domestication to domesticate wild dogs into what we see today?

      • Arachnid Scroll seems to be a bust, unless someone disagrees...?
        • Discuss other Scroll options. Otter or Kraken seem the most promising to get Kagome to 7th Path the quickest.
          • Though, that might still be too slow to affect the DRAGONWAR. If so, Hazou prefers any mission to retrieve a Scroll would be for Akane next.
            • Thoughts?
    • Famine is partially or mostly our fault. What can we do?
      • Hazou did have an idea:
        • Noburi leads ambitious mission: Hunt every chakra beast within hundreds of miles.
          • Downed beasts can be drained to recharge Summoners/ninja to down more beasts.
          • Noburi has more experience fighting beasts than most Leaf nin, and the charisma to lead a team.
          • Storage scrolls can transport bodies from Noburi to Hazou over 7th path to feed Leaf. Envoys will be needed in 7th path.
            • Don't neglect administration prep, briefing Summons, etc. if idea's accepted.
    • Hazou promised to outfit estate ninja with proper gear and jutsu. Who can oversee this? Haru and Atomu, perhaps?
    • Lastly, here's some training regimens why are you groaning

I vaguely recall something about Asuma's intentions for Isan being bodies to throw at Mist . . . .

Given that Ami's interpretation of Takahashi's shenanigans isn't likely to be quite so charitable . . . .

With Mari's info, it should be trivial to report this new Leaf bio-sealing research facility to auntie Ren . . . .

i like this plan, but i prefer if you included something about putting forward Ami's crusader idea and something about kagome's students at least keeping an eye out for the sealmasters in the state.
