I'm not going to weigh in on the logic of either side's arguments, but I will ask that everyone read over what they write and really consider if the words they used are polite and won't be inflammatory intentionally or not. You cant account for people's tolerances perfectly but at least try to say your piece without saying things that can be easily construed as overly dismissive of the other side of the argument, thank you.

In all seriousness, I really hope Snorri gets a chance to work with some priests of Vaul. Given his specialty in magical metallurgy him examining Ithilmar and truesilver would be awesome to see. It's a real thematic opportunity to explore how much the Elves and the Dwarfs could and did teach each one another before the War of Vengeance.

It would be deeply ironic if Snorri inadvertently helped create some of the first Dragonblades.

Man with all this going on snorri coming back and making a series of weapons to specifically destroy chaos beastmen and traitors could be pretty epic to make sure what happened here doesn't happen in his house

Would be kinda interested in making some blades and armor for the cult of gazul, though I would want to study these wardstones, and Valaya's basket first. Just seems like they might give useful insights.

Most probably not. Suneater was already suffering from being harried by KotS for a long time, and even got suicide standed by Yorri's grontis.

And even then, we were basically losing the whole fight until our specifically targeted Grudge Bolt did enough damage to cripple Kholek. And again, even then, we were still basically only "slightly winning", with the finishing blow having to come from the KotS reusing our specially made grudge bolt to deal the finishing blow.

Kholek was no joke... and I'm pretty sure there's a vanishingly small list of things in WHF that could even think of going 1v1 against him and winning.

I'm thinking the likes of Grimnir or other martially inclined Ancestors, maybe some of the Elder Slann, and some of the strongest Elven heroes... but even then I'm not certain on the outcome. Kholek was utterly monstrous in his power, and seeing him die now rather than living till canon was a stunning victory.
