Should be noted, that Freddy and Eldyra don't exactly have any actionable intel, in other words torturing them is kinda pointless, with any Luck Alyssa will realise this and will do something useful, like taking command of her Rebellion.
So that timer might be more flexible....hopefully....
But to such an extent? I made an argumant that the entirety of this arc and the albion arc which caused it, were not in any way shape or form driven by player choices but by dice and dice alone. That goes above and beyond the norm for quests.
There is a difference between "things didn't go swimmingly" and " we were set back so far, we are arguably worse than when we started the arc". No problem with the former, loads of problems with the latter, especially so given the issues with player agency.
Oh for one thing, we got an awesome poison running in Freddy's Veins. Apply some good ol fashion Freddy greasing and that could just boost him even more via "Mallus Adaptation"… Or ya know, get Ghyran running overtime on it or The Everqueen. Provided of course, that Freddy still in one piece and keeps moving to get there in the first place.
Another is that we're (as Natasha) forced into the spot of gunning for the depths Boat Vietnam in search for Freddy. Which means inevitably we get to encounter new companions from the slaves and dregs of the Ark current social powderkeg to haul ass out with should anyone be left standing on breaking Freddy out.
…Aaaand also that means somebody here will have a small but likely shot at hitting this big magical engine with a sharp pointy stick!

Ah well, the dice giveth, the dice taketh away. Sometimes you get the euphoric high of a slaying two divine avatars, sometimes you end up in what would probably be some kind of risqué erotic fanfiction scenario were this any setting but warhammer (at least it's pretty funny that it ended up happening twice). Always a bit irritating to see some people get all wishy washy when the dice don't go the way they want them to, though.
Just remember to stay safe, man, regardless of what happens. I hope things turn out okay for you over there.
As long as she's doing that, Alyssa is not actually doing anything else on the Ark to actually, functionally aid her actual cause. So not sure if it would be 'lucky' for her to go do something useful, from the perspective of those fighting her cause.

As awful as it is, strategically her torturing Freddy is about the best thing she could be doing... for us. Because as long as she is doing this the chaos is going to only get worse and worse. While we don't know exactly how much Maghda weakened herself to pull off blowing up an anchorstone if she can hit another I suspect the arc is just fucking done, because there won't be enough coven left to keep the damage from continuing to spread until the rest eventually fail.
Also the fact Alyssa isn't bothering to heal herself... I suspect she may very well be past the point she can easily do so right now. And torturing Freddy is unlikely to get her back into the correct mindset to actually be able to heal herself in a timely manner.
Especially since there is no amount of pain that will ever make Freddy talk. Break? Sure. But talk? Never.

This is the guy who's so skilled in deception that he managed to dance with Morathi in public before stealing from her one of her most valuable artifacts. If he actually views Hultressa as more Druchii than Asur then he probably felt a great deal of enjoyment in breaking her hopes and dreams like that after deceiving her for centuries.

Imagine someone who had to view his entire homeland turn into the horrors of the black arks where before it was a damn nigh paradise, had his whole family and loved ones slaughtered and then went on to live in naggaroth driven by nothing but spite through and through, so consumed by the naked need or want to take revenge for everything malekith has done that his life has no other meaning but that, though all the while staying perfectly lucid through all that hatred.
