Could the dragon be Morai Wen? I mean, with the Beastmen focus and the ability to appear and disappear out of nowhere...the question is the isolated villages, but if it's based on prophecy and divination she may see something foul in their nature or future.

Deep Forest Clashes: Sounds of screams and panicked reports from scouts and those who wander within the forests brought curious investigations this year through the southern provinces. There, more than once, was found the dead and dying remains of various small but fierce battles. Dead spiders, feather-covered goblins, and squigs were found amongst mutated hounds and the beastmen that drove them. It has long been known that the despicable greenskins and the monstrous beastmen have been rivals for the deepest parts of the forest where the Empire dares not tread without heavily armed support. But this year that rivalry appeared to grow more fierce than usual, at least based on the bodies left behind. Talabecland, Reikland, Middenland, and the Westerland gave such reports this year. What could have driven them to such violence? Why, their own depraved inhuman natures of course! Let them kill one another, I saw, and so much the better!
So, this sounds like we're building up to a situation that is... sort of similar to the "Zacharias rampaging through the rest of the Forest of Shadows" bit, or the "4th Vampire War" result. That is to say: if we survive and if we win the war that the Beastmen are preparing and are going to be bringing upon us. Then, the forests of the Empire will be quite emptied of Greenskins. (And, temporarily, of Beastmen. Though maybe many of the Warherds will splinter and break off everywhere, so, yeah.)

Because I think here's what's going to be happening here: I think, in the future, we are going to see a major, dramatic, and climactic, clash in the Empire. The equivalent of the Nordland war against the Count of Plagues, or the Zacharias War, or the reconquering of Sylvania, or the Battle of Three Armies before Nuln (remember, that was a thing that happened!).

I think that we will see the following:

The Black Orcs will head north, to Black Fire Pass.

The Beastmen will surge across the forests of the Empire. Bolstered by Beastmen-Daemon hybrids from the north and south poles.

And the Druchii will pull something in the north coast, too.

(... If we're very lucky, the following two groups won't pull anything: the Norscans, due to being busy with the Norscan Dwarfs and the Dwarfs allies; and the remnants of the Vampires and Lahmian networks.)

If we're very fortunate? We will be able to call upon the Empire's allies, old and new! The Karaz Ankor. Kislev. Laurelorn and/or Athel Loren. Ulthuan. Maybe even Bretonnia or other Old World nations, if we're lucky with the Emperor's efforts towards Bretonnia.

And together, if we succeed, we will smash all these forces and all these Major Campaigns!

... But. It is going to be the equivalent of an extremely crucial and dramatic time in the Empire's history.

(... Also, freaking ratmen. They're totally going to try something too, aren't they? Freaking Skaven. So make that 4 big groups rather than 3.)

... Poor Emperor Magnus. He has been having to clean up the Empire, and keep it from re-fracturing and going back to the millenium-long status quo of the Time of Three Emperors. And here we added a bit of fuel to the fire. And, meanwhile, he's probably very aware of the shit-storm that is about to hit us from the north coast, the south Badlands, and the forests within.

He has so many things to juggle. So many things to do. And he has to defend the Empire all the while.

And now back to reading more of the rumors, and reacting to some as I read them...

Nagarythe has been OCCUPIED by the Druuchi for almost 40 years? I'm amazed they haven't put all they had in driving them out...it explains partly how Malekith was able to escape Ulthuan.

To think Alarielle and Tyrion have been engaging in campaigns on the other side of the world while Druuchi infest any part of Ulthuan...

You think that's wacky, the canonical Reconquering of the Shadowlands took place in 2413 IC to 2463 IC, according to the Book of Days, and within that according to the 5th Edition Tears of Isha Supplement.

It took 50 years?! Jesus the Druchii must have been guerilla fighting the Asur harder than the VC!

Most elves really just can't give a shit about Nagarythe beyond it being part of Ulthuan, huh...

No. Based on that, it took 150. 100 for them to actually start the reconquest.

Ulthuan has long periods of time where dork elves are in control of areas, even if there isn't an active invasion going on
Yeah, but it's one thing to read of it, another to read of it while at the same time the Asur are fighting wars across the world with their strongest assets.

Edit: Holy shit that's intense, thank you @Aleadrex
I'm guessing Frederick, Eldyra, the Greatswords and Natasha?

Those poor Elfs. That kingdom of Nagarythe Look like the kind that should get some diplomatic/military aid actions in the the future (far in the future).

But I think humans can only go to one elf kingdom and even that is rare :( (I don't know much about the setting)

Anyway I glad the everqueen is now going to help and bringing some serious firepower^^.

Ooooh! That's really nice. I see six greatswords and freddy, and that means the woman in the back is Natasha, and the woman in the middle is our elf daughter.
