I am not sure this would be sufficient. Even if she droppoed dead this instant the poison would linger. It would take a lot of time or magical healing to get rid of it. And honestly, given that it is derived from 2 greater demons I genuinely doubt Freddy would be in shape to fight until extensive healing rituals or Everqueen's personal attention.
IF we get out with everyone we will probably have brownie points with Everqueen. This time probably good idea to use them.Chaotic poison. Can probably be burned out with pure Ghyran, though as this is Freddie we are talking about a stupid amount of ice magic to freeze it into nothing is also a possibility.
Regardless the poison is nasty, but not irreversible even if it was meant to be. I also suspect this was the only dose of it she actually had.
To be fair she is mother who's priority is her daughter even freddy understood that still calls her a friendOkay. I am annoyed. But eh.
We were getting our asses kicked anyway.
My mood has considerably lightened.
I guess I need to reread the chapter before I miss anything else.
I think I'm done reading for now at least, it was already dragging on and now all that tension and build up his just stalled out leaving a whole lot of nothing except disappointment. I have always felt this quest was too dice dependent for narrative and this just confirms it.
Maybe like with the the karak I'll come back when its done end skim through the updates.
Yeah thats true, been several times where I forget that is is a quest with dice as One above all and not a story with specific goal in mind.Torroar is so good at making us get attached to his characters.
She's in a weaker position, yes but so are we. No advantage of secrecy, no Hultressa and we're back to step 1 with regards to having to rescue people except now the druchii know what we're up to.Things on the ark always could've gone horribly wrong and we were already lucky to get this far. In fact, Alyssa still is in a weaker position than she was at the start.
I play enough of the ttrpg to know how much dice can effect things, that does not mean the man behind the currtain cannot alter things, change narrative beats speed up the process and glaze over things, when people are getting exhausted.Being dice dependent is the nature of basically all warhammers quests, which can lead to situations like this.
Remember how bad Karak Ungor was for Frederick and his kids? (I don't envy those who had to follow all those developments per post)
Things on the ark always could've gone horribly wrong and we were already lucky to get this far. In fact, Alyssa still is in a weaker position than she was at the start.
I do get what you're feeling, and understand if you want to take a step back from the story, but that's just because Torroar is so good at making us get attached to his characters.
I am not so certain. Everyone in the group has good reasons to distrust and hate her. The one guy she build some understanding with is completly indisposed. So even if she comes back, teamwork would suffer.
Worse yet, we are on a much stricter time limit, between Freddy & Eldyra being tortured, our group no longed having reliable food supply and Alyssa now going for a much more straightforward way of securing control, via just murdering everyone who isn't in the cultShe's in a weaker position, yes but so are we. No advantage of secrecy, no Hultressa and we're back to step 1 with regards to having to rescue people except now the druchii know what we're up to.
Not just lack. Undoing of a lot of progress we made. Something I genuinely do not remember happening in Ungor.
Yeah, this is the really disheartening part. It just makes the last year or so seem kinda pointlessNot just lack. Undoing of a lot of progress we made. Something I genuinely do not remember happening in Ungor.
