I'm not going to weigh in on the logic of either side's arguments, but I will ask that everyone read over what they write and really consider if the words they used are polite and won't be inflammatory intentionally or not. You cant account for people's tolerances perfectly but at least try to say your piece without saying things that can be easily construed as overly dismissive of the other side of the argument, thank you.

Rune of Aethyric Warding is an interesting name in this context since Aerhyr is more of an elf word that a dwarf one. Seeing how we got out magical lore which we used to make this very rune it feels quite fitting.
 
I like aethyric warding. Like Aethyrbinder, it's a clue to those in the know and it fits with what it does. Otherworldy warding is cool too.

I'm surprised the adamant lower the efficiency effect of the rune of Thungni considering adamant itself is an efficiency booster. So, does adamant's power boost actually come from the forcing the winds into the rune in a smoother manner rather than expressing runic energy outwards more potently?

That's all I got, I usually miss hard whenever I suggest anything overly complex.

These two are acceptable to me, and Otherworldly Warding is a fun wordplay and makes it clear what's happening. Might be slightly confusing if we talk about both on the same item but that's alright. I did have my own idea so gonna throw that in.

And if its not a two rune, Worldly Warding and this magic variant + Ancestor Thungni with no modifications should either be a combo or very close.

Could also try and Worldly Warding + this variant + Ancestor Valaya.
