[x]Right. Stay out the way while Kyouko talks to Yuma. Got it.
[x]Calm down.
-[x]Come to think of it, we don't make sense. Why were we dying? How did we even get there? What was that about...a 'strange' soul from Kyubey? We...probably should be more worried about all this.
-[x]...Goals. Goals are nice too. Get on with everyone, don't let them die...What else do we even want?
[x]Awkward meal time. We're paying for her and Yuma. We have our packed lunch for ourselves if we don't have enough.
--[x]If she grills about an agenda...friends. We want to get on well with her and everyone else if at all possible. Except maybe Oriko...but we have no idea what's going on with her.
--[x]If she asks about us/Mami, tell her.
-[x]Ask how hunting is.
-[x]We meant what we said. We don't lose anything by helping, and we want to help if they need it. Get in touch by telepathy?

oh here we go. No I'm not voting for inducing trauma on Sabrina.
The "stick our collective heads in the sand" approach is odd, ineffective, and frankly counterproductive when there is no possible bomb that can even come near to the ones Sabrina's already defused by definition. If we ignore it, it will bite us at a bad time seeing as there's a laundry list of "this probably isn't an accident" things the GM's letting slip. It makes sense for it to come up anyway.

We're not playing a canon character. We don't need to metagame away obvious problems in the name of "ignorance is bliss" because that does us no favors. The sooner we know about problems, the less likely it'll be for them to be dropped into a social situation out of the blue without us being forewarned about them. And that's assuming worst case scenario, maximum truma.

Do we want to deal with potential problems on our own time or when we're trying to stop the bombs we can do something about from going off on the NPC cast?

EDIT: Sabrina's reaction is controlled by the playerbase. That means we have no reason not to ask about this except for negative reactions from the characters, which means we definitely want to find out if this is a problem on our terms.

You also have a terrible track record of this. The grief bombs your hunting for are irrelevant. Can't come up in casual conversation and usually when you run into them, you're completely incapable of dealing with them. The bombs you had Sayaka run into in SQ she still can't deal with.

No, no, and fuck no.

Irrelevant until it's not. The Hitomi conversation was necessary to find out if it was a problem. We aborted the conversation as soon as the problem became clear. Elsa Maria was literally "talking witch out of nowhere" in response to a necessary self-justification for killing a problematic witch. And are you seriously suggesting we'd have somehow gotten away with dodging the witchbomb indefinitely? Seriously?! I think we got off lucky with that considering the alternative we're now seeing in PQ.

Burying your head in the sand is a stalling tactic. Great, brilliant, useful if you're playing a character that can't take said revelations, otherwise it's just that. Stalling. Filler. I have no regrets about the way we handled the main bombs in SQ- only that we didn't foresee the MikiMom fiasco and take steps to prevent that. Half our SQ problems have come from keeping things from characters until they found out on their own. In those SQ situations, that was probably necessary, but that model doesn't apply when a)we're not talking about involving other characters at all, b)it's a very vague potential problem, c)the character isn't predefined to react to any revelations in a specific, negative fashion.

Hiding from the plot does not make the plot less likely to beat down your front door. You can argue that it's an inefficient use of time, maybe, but for this quest it's otherwise avoiding the plot hooks just to be contrary.

...what the hell are you talking about? Dodging the witch bomb... what?

We defused nothing. Just confirmed that some topics are a bad, bad place for Sayaka.

Elsa Maria was literally "talking witch out of nowhere".

We literally created a bomb from nothing. That was a spectacular fuck up.

If plot happens then it happens. I'm in no rush to go mad from the revelation. If you go out looking for trauma, you'll find it and then some. Even things you didn't have to run into.

...If not the Witch bomb, which fiasco are you talking about? Granted, there's quite a list, but you'll need to be more specific.

Reworded Hitomi before you posted because the wording was poor. We needed to make sure it wasn't a problem. We did. No major trauma, things confirmed for safe. Success. More or less. Very minor trauma, no one died, no one had a sobbing fit, and the plot went on.

Elsa Maria was a fluke. It was meant to be a [x]Justify vote, and considering Sayaka was already looking at it as a person, I doubt "lol kill it" would have gone too much better. Regardless, apples and oranges since this situation is completely different with two separate characters involved. If Sabrina was in the Elsa Maria situation, the biggest issue would have been how to make sure the rest of the cast didn't notice.

...Look, either this line of thought is a complete waste of time...or it's a problem we are going to have to deal with at some point. If the former, we lose nothing but a few conversation write-ins. If the latter, we need to know, plan, and take steps. Firn's already dropped things on us out of the blue thanks to our choices; let's not add something else to that list when we don't need to. We ask, we make sure it's not a future problem, then we deal with the actual problems.

Firn's just said we have as much trauma as we want, so ignoring our personal issues forever means they don't exist. You're making them come into existence with that choice.

I think that this result with Kyouko was moderately bad if anything. She not only suspicious but also doesn't take us seriously, and is no closer to being willing to work with us. We failed on all fronts, it's only moderate because each of the individual failures was moderate rather than complete.

Okay so... what are we doing after lunch?

Things off the top of my head are:

1. Checking up on Nagisa
2. Training
3. Witch Hunting (story important witches?) (w/ Mami and Homura?)
4. Visiting the hospital with Madoka and Sayaka
-4a. Meeting Hitomi, maybe getting an account of her accident

3 is definitely with Mami/Homura for JOLLY COOPERATION and probably higher priority than 2 if low on time.
