Interesting, I thought that the thread was in consensus on the "zero loops since Madowish" theory.
Brinapilot, however, only entertains the idea for a moment before switching to the "two loops since Madowish" theory.
Is this Firn giving hints to steer us on the right track?

Here's a thought I just had.
This might not be the first loop where Homura has encountered us.
She might have done one other loop before this one, and whatever happened, something went wrong, but she wound up learning that she can trust us, and that's the real reason she's so accommodating towards us in this loop.

Also, the people talking about formalwear are very right. If we can nail one outfit today we can reuse it over and over, and it *will* be helpful with people like the Shizukis. We had ought to get some serious advice (Junko?) and take a real stab at this -- if we can construct a serious, effective formal outfit and present a fully serious persona inside certain events... Anyway, it's very effective to do that, even if you're totally different elsewhere.

God. Every pore of my skin is yelling at me that the most likely course of events was that Homura was Potentialbombed, and for one reason or another, like a pebble in the road, Madoka was seconds late, and found Homulilly instead of Homura.
That would neatly explain everything. And when we nearly Potentialbombed her in Quest... We THINK we already know what the fallout would have been, but Firn raised a disturbing number of alarm bells.

Oh jeez, that brings up a horrible thought.
The possibility there was a loop in between that Homura doesn't remember links up badly with Madoka having made a wish that might have turned her into Madokami, and us having problems with an entity involving black feathers.
What if Madokami spent the hidden loop trying to fix everything herself but failed, and now we're dealing with Madocifer.

The 150 word limit is more... guidelines, than some hard and fast rule. It's primary purpose is to stop the old bad habit of people attempting to write the entire update in a vote through vast arrays of nested if/then statements, and secondarily to make a reasonable cutoff point so that Firn can get to most, if not all, of the points and goals raised in the vote. Being 30 words over isn't that much of a problem.
