I totally understand it, though I don't necessarily agree that it should be in the real vote.
As opposed to all those joke votes I've been shitposting through the thread.

No, that vote is fine. I'm going to stick to my vote for all the reasons I've laid down, but that vote is a fine vote. I trust Mami and I believe she can do this herself, but if you want a more involved plan, that is the one to go for.

Yeah, I read the urchin joke as significantly meaner than even Kyouko is managing right now. If you want to make a deflating joke, perhaps something more along the lines of

[Q] "Everyone knows that, Kyouko. By the way, it's rude to ask someone for protection and then try to pick a fight."

or more of a joke, as has been alluded to before:

[Q] "I was confused why you thought you'd need protection from Mami. It's still absurd, but I'm less confused now."

I'm not actually in favor of either of those, although I want to make sure someone has a conversation with Kyouko about trying to push people away like this even now. Later, though. I think just talking to Mami again is a huge guilt trip for Kyouko, and that bluster is going to pop sooner rather than later, as long as they keep talking. And that's a better lesson than anything we could say.

One thing that suddenly strikes me, is that Kyouko's been completely without friends since her break with Mami. And carrying all this guilt of several types the whole time. Speaking from having lived like that for a little while, that's awfully hard on a person. I have to imagine that that's 90% of the reason Kyouko is like this... Having Yuma in the picture improves the situation for Kyouko, and Sayaka is at least an acquaintance, and Sabrina is some kind of friend. That's at least stopped the bleeding, as it were. Well, no, Kyouko has visibly improved since we started dealing with her.

Can we get her and Yuma off the streets, sooner rather than later? Having a home is nice. Especially if people live there. This is contingent on things going well here, and on Mami's enthusiastic approval, but I wonder if we might not invite them to stay with Sabrina and Mami, at some point. Tonight is clearly too soon for such a thing, and I'm just throwing the idea out there.
