None, and clones show up on our grief radar like other meguca do.How many clones are in the immediate area? And how far are her teammates?
True.A full body bind would take less than a grief marble, so a negligible amount. But we do have Mami with us. Her ribbons don't require her active presence, just as unbreakable, and carries no risk of hurting the prisoner .
so best place would be at the forearms and the legs right?Grief bindings are totally possible, just avoid any location close to the soul gem and we should be golden.
Depends on the MG. Homura's soul gem is on her hand, for example, but fortunately we can detect where the soul gem is on an MG at a glance using our grief radar.
The problem with such a thing would be getting the balance right. People generally dont want to play complete monsters, and have some chances for positive interactons.
Although a witch thats pretty selfish but ina human-ish manner, and has recognized that being completly alone is unhappy, going to far will lead to retaliation, and instead of crush-kill-destroy prefers some things like huma luxury etc., may still leave possibility for nastyness and dicking over others without falling into the depravity pit.
But i dont claim to be that good at planning out quests, so if someone does this they likely should come up with their own ideas. just think somewhat carefully. And im not sure how much interest there would be, but i would play, likely.
Actually, I see another possible with grief bindings.Grief bindings are totally possible, just avoid any location close to the soul gem and we should be golden. I mean, it did work on Kirika without much ill effects, and having two people who can bind hostile makes it such that we don't have to resort to removing limbs if Mami gets disabled or something.
If that happens with a ribbon-bound MG, she's still bound ribbons, if a bit less tight. That happens on one with grief bindings, that's a cloud of grief we suddenly do not have control of in very close proximity to an MG.
I expounded a bit about that in.... (yeesh, how many pages back now?) this post. You and I both know that Oriko's Futuresight isn't perfect. Furthermore, if it was merely a healing circuit, Akiko shouldn't be here. Her presence means that there is something more to this little visit than "just" a healing circuit. In anycase, it wouldn't hurt to hear it from the cow's mouth itself, if only to ensure that we aren't making assumptions that will come to bite us in the ass.
Actually revised my proposal in that regard. New proposal started off in drill sergeant mode, but immediately dropped out and let Mami handle things in full diplomatic mode. Partly to start with a hard push, then pull back to give them room to work in, and not drive a wedge between us, but still let them know we're not happy. Partly to get Mami let go of our hand a bit and stand on her own. Partly to get Mami to recognize that her own talents are useful, and she isn't just a shadow trailing after us; build her confidence back up.Right now, we'll have built up some goodwill amongst the Sendai Crew for pulling that rescue. We should use that Goodwill to get them to divulge information, and only move on to tougher measures once it becomes clear that goodwill alone isn't enough to get what we want out of them. Seriously, the hard method is all or nothing. Either we get what we want, or we irreparably drive a wedge between us and and the Sendai crew. Opening with that is a bad idea.
That dosent sound particularly evil, or particularly fun to play. Somewhat paranoid, sure, which may well be justified. (Puella Magi, esspecially these somewhere in the middle between completly idealistic and completly cynical/corrupt (who more likely can be dealt with for opposite reasons) are likely to be somewhat "racist" by default).I was sort of thinking "alternate worldview and delusionary perceptions make the Witch genuinely believe everyone is out to get her on a personal level with malicious and directed intent.
