Welp I got and registered because I read this whole quest and need to give compliments to both the author and the voters for making such an awesome Quest. I will be following actively from now on.

Yes, hello, I have a proposal to place before the thread.

In light of recent events, I move that Homura's Affiliation in the Day Planner be changed from "Madoka/White Ribbon" to "White Ribbon". With Mami's awareness of the depth of necessity in keeping Madoka safe, uncontracted, and part of the group, there are now no points of conflict whatsoever with the idea that our group can and will include non-meguca. Similarly, I move that "White Ribbon Political Committee" be dissolved as a specific affiliation, and instead be replaced with "White Ribbon".

I believe this is an important distinction to maintain for now, at least until we establish the degree to which refugees will be integrating. It's entirely possible that future arrivals or even Shiogama will become members of White Ribbon but not the political committee, or that the political committee will expand beyond White Ribbon to include trusted adults or affiliated groups.

I have lost track of how much Mami does or does not know about the witchbomb. Is it:
"There's something that would be dangerous to know"
"There's something that would be dangerous to know, about being a magical girl"
"There's something that would be dangerous to know, about what happens when a soul gem fills up"
"There's something that would be dangerous to know, about Witches"
Or any of those but with "dangerous" replaced by "distressing", i.e. dangerous because of Mami's fragility and the risk of spiral, not dangerous in and of itself by some magical knowledge-based effect, or by "extremely secret", because someone (probably Kyubey) would try to kill her if they knew she knew.

Some of those possibilities affect the chance that she might figure it out herself - good odds she already suspects.

The last affects her odds of potentially deciding she wants to know; if she thinks it's inherently hazardous, she'd almost certainly wait for us to say it's safe. If she thinks it's her own mental state making it dangerous, she might think she's ready before she actually is. If she thinks it's a secrecy-risk... Unrelated suspicious occurrences might get her wondering on entirely the wrong path.

The political committee is an organization within White Ribbon, rather than being its own separate affiliation. We could add an extra page for detailing the internal structure of White Ribbon, should it become necessary for tracking.

It's not like Sabrina herself knows for sure, since some of it depends on what Mami's been able to deduce or infer.

She seems to now know that when you run out of Grief something bad happens, but I don't believe she knows if that's at all related to the secret Sabrina's been keeping from her. But she may suspect.

My reasoning when I created that category was that Madoka and Hitomi aren't able to act as "on-site" representatives for White Ribbon the way Mami, Sabrina, Sayaka, and Homura are.

It wasn't meant to somehow diminish them as "not real" members of the team - especially given that with the Osaki Group, we see that there's a precedence for non-meguca to be fully informed and involved teammates.

Still, I can see the issue.

What I might do (in the morning, I'm away from my computer at the moment) is list Madoka and Hitomi in the same list as everyone else, then add notes next to all of the White Ribbon members denoting their positions.

Madoka and Hitomi would remain on the Political Committee.
Mami would be explicitly called out as the Group Leader.
Homura would probably get a position that represents how she's always minding the fort even when the rest of us are away.
And Sabrina and Sayaka would be the envoys.

She knows that it's about meguca and Rionnnnna found it out with her power.

This seems eminently reasonable. Done.

I've amended Redshirt's note on positions into the equation.

In no particular order, we now have notes for the...

White Ribbon Big Cheese,
White Ribbon Force of Personality,
White Ribbon Insecure Genius,
White Ribbon Force of Nature,
White Ribbon Political Mastermind/Only Sane Woman and,
White Ribbon Infinite Combo/Envoy.

I believe this is an important distinction to maintain for now, at least until we establish the degree to which refugees will be integrating. This seems like it has a simple solution: In the event that our group grows to include the likes of the Shiogama girls, The Animators, the Kures, Etc, we can designate ourselves "White Ribbon - Core" and our close friends as "WR - Animators" Etc.

Amusing suggestions!
While we are about two IC days early(?) it's great good fun to consider how adding Madoka to the group merits new enumeration. OTOH, the idea of compartmentalizing, and titles, inclusion in committees, etc... this IS how so many "People's" governments slide downhill.
It is my honest terminal goal that in broad terms "Magical Girls will have no major secrets." It's much safer that way. We might have to seal a few Great Evils beyond the knowledge of mortal man, but system secrets and national conflicts are just no good. We can try to live without them. Secrets make the Incubator powerful.
To that extent, maybe I should mistrust some aspects of hierarchy and ranks.

On the one hand, it seems way more appealing and bold to think in terms of
"Those who dare their souls for their fellows, and can meet well our gaze, let them tie a White Ribbon."
We will need to organize when that many people are involved, but egalitarian spirit is a nice companion to our yearning for freedom for Magical Girls. Therefore, work has to be divided, but "titles" should be more for other folks, not us. Magical Girls have power. Playing with power - is unnecessary.

On the other hand, if we want to know how our organization really works, ask us after the war. Athens was the classic example, of a society that set it's self-awareness after being stressed in combat. The same would seem to be shaping up here in Mitakihara.
