with talking about memory issues with Sayaka - we need to consider that Sayaka is not witch bombed, correct? I'd rather not have her poke her nose in something that gets her to find out THAT factoid.

We can't avoid this meeting until we find mind protection magic the hard way, we're already in Tokyo and that could take months. They'll have to deal with some witchness.

We could just ask the girls right here if we can have a pen and paper, take some notes on it so as to not be suspicious, then put it in our hammerspace once we leave. Once we leave, use grief to right a transcript of the meeting, and telepathy Mami to ask her to remind us to read the notes in our hammerspace when we get back. Continue taking notes via grief.

the point of what I'm saying is that we can't go in full witch girl, AND we need a method to know that the knowledge we take out is accurate. it doesn't even have to be magical in nature. the pen and pad thing would work more than fine

Please keep in mind that we have a hilarious shortcut for any issues creating a new enchantment.

Step 1: Griefhax up an enchantment booster.
Step 2: Use enchantment booster to create speckled enchantment.
Step 3: Hand speckled enchantment over to Mami for her to decipher.
Step 4: Mami enchants new thing.

If we have hours to burn on a single, necessary enchantment, then we can figure it out.

(I propose the first thing we do with this is create an enchantment booster for Mami to enchant to boost her enchantments for further enchantments. Enchantment.)
 
Yeeeep. As long as we don't head over right now, getting an anti-memory wipe enchantment shouldn't be an issue. In fact, since it's a Thursday, we already have an enchantment practice session scheduled this afternoon. We can even test it out beforehand to make sure it works, since Sayaka has (copies) memory powers of her own.

Actually, if time allows it, Sayaka might wanna ask Umika for some help with learning her memory powers before we head to Chiyoda? Umika has that "memory ward" she put on us when we were hunting Hijiri.

speaking of enchanting practice I've been thinking about improving upon our shaping enchantment in order eventually let us control regular matter in the same way we do grief, which could be incredibly useful. grief alchemist Sabrina Vee

We can already do that, with grief as an intermediary. I voted in for us to work on it, even. It's not actually that useful.

Different definitions of shoulder length?

EDIT: Firn has rated this insightful. I will interpret this to mean that Sabrina's hair exists in the superposition of every definition of "shoulder length" at the same time.

We have inherited our Multidimensional Hair from Momura. A lesser version, to be true, but still.

Official reference sheet, with Firn providing input during the creation of the piece. Her hair is shoulder-length at the back (as in, reaches the shoulders -- you're thinking of armpit-length, which is past the shoulders) and shorter as it goes toward the front.
