Yeah, but if they don't see it...

I'm pretty sure if the ball suddenly teleports into the goal, the ref is going to call offside.
Homura (or Oriko, for that matter), are probably at least as broken as Goalies as Mami. Probably Kyoko and Masami too.
Kind of want Mami as center - her Tiro Finale would be excellent for penalty kicks.

(In RE: Rules: Touhou Soccer, with QB occasionally subbing as the ball?)

It doesn't make much of a difference, since she can take the ball and walk it to the goal unimpeded. I guess you can argue that since no time passed in between the time she took the ball and the time she brought it to the goal, she was in both places at the same time. Then her play could constitute off-side since, technically, a player that was not in off-side passed the ball to one who was?...

...We're gonna need Kyubey to hash out the rules for this. Or Crasian, whoever works.

Actually thinking about voting... A thing occurs to me: There's a meguca out there with invisibility powers. This ability may extend to other mundane and magical senses, so let's not trust our perceptory abilities too much.
[]Once we're close enough, land and condense our grief into marbles. Stealth-mode engaged. Support/carry Kirika if we need to.
Ugo, Kirika can walk now.

[x] Ask about the specifics of Kirika's powers. In particular, find out if she can selectively exclude others from being affected by the antimagic, as well as if she can direct the blasts in a specific shape like a cone instead of a radius.
[x] Contact Rin and Akiko, assuming they don't contact us first. Get their current situation and location, and head towards their location. Ask them if it would be terribly too inconvenient if we were to make a scene.
-[x]If yes: Once we're close enough, land and condense our grief into marbles. Stealth-mode engaged.
-[x]If no: Once we reach the city, go loud. Form the wings of corruption and surround the platform with the leftover grief in mist form. Don't even bother keeping a low profile, we want them to notice us.

[x] Keep an eye out for other megucas with the grief senses, but do not engage them unless it is necessary.
- [x] If combat erupts, be intimidating and flashy, but focus on the defence. Intercept and shut down attacks, but don't seriously harm anyone if you can help it.
- [x] Keep Kirika away from the fighting. She doesn't have a reliable way of subduing hostile megucas without resorting to her antimagic, and we want to keep that ability a secret until it becomes necessary to bust it out.

Moved the bolded part around and included both approaches, after getting word from the people we're trying to help.

Edited out the problematic line about Kirika- and not sure what response we're expecting to the Onmur question other than >HELPPPPPPP.

Am suddenly imagining the soccer game from Outbreak Company, between the dwarves and the elves. The field is basically a crater by the end of the game.

"'Meguca'?" she asks.

You flush slightly. "Uh... just a word for magical girls. 'Magical girls', 'meguca'?" you finish in English. Homura very slowly brings her hand to her face, hiding her expression.

Kirika flashes you a grin. "I like it!" Oriko mirrors Homura's pained look.

"Hey, Sabrina?" Kirika says tentatively, on a private connection to you.

"Yes?" you raise an eyebrow at the berserker.

"My ojou's better than yours," she says seriously.

"No she's not," you say absently. "And Mami's not my ojou."

"... haaaaah, I don't believe you," she says firmly. "If you love her, you should be honest about it! But confessions are scaaaaaary! Do you need help?"

"No, I'm good," you say, and deflect the topic. "How's that single bed working out for you?"

No response. You glance back to see Kirika doing an excellent impression of a tomato, and probably releasing that high pitched kettle-like noise to boot, even if you can't hear it over the rushing wind. You grin to yourself, and face forward again, letting Mami tuck herself against you a little tighter.

Sorry Mami but you got motherfucking DETHRONED as our Best Friend.

Also that last paragraph was hilariously lewd. Incidentally I need to pick up the pace on updating Confractum because Kirika~~~

[x]Talk to Mami.

[x]If we get approached, hail them via telepathy. Say we need to talk about something and it can't wait- their lives are in danger.
-[x]...Take us to your leader?
[x] If combat erupts, go loud, open up with a hail of marbles to buy us enough time to set up griefwings as a defensive barrier. Focus on defense and keep trying to talk them down. We're a neutral party in this war, and their lives are in danger. Intercept and shut down attacks, but don't seriously harm anyone if you can help it.

Hey, uh, guys, why exactly are we trying to go stealth? Its going to take more time to reach them on foot than by air, and if we intervene at all we are going to have to reveal ourselves to them anyway, so I don't really see the benefits of trying to sneak through this place.

I put it as an option in case the Sendai girls have some sort of plan in motion, that we could screw up by causing a commotion.

We want to at least try and get the Sendai girls out/some basic answers before we attract every meguca in a ten mile radius with ALL OF THE GRIEF.

I am excited about new Best Friend Kirika.

Besides, Mami isn't our best friend, she's our limpet waifu. At least, that's what our friends seem to think. :p
Well Kirika certainly thinks so. But while she's our new best bro and brain damage buddy, she's also wrong. We're Sayaka's waifu and we're never letting her forget it!
