[x] Ask about the specifics of Kirika's powers. In particular, find out if she can selectively exclude others from being affected by the antimagic, as well as if she can direct the blasts in a specific shape like a cone instead of a radius.
[x] Once we reach the city, go loud. Form the wings of corruption and surround the platform with the leftover grief in mist form. Don't even bother keeping a low profile, we want them to notice us.
[x] Contact Rin and Akiko, assuming they don't contact us first. Get their current situation and location, and head towards their location.
[x] Keep an eye out for other megucas with the grief senses, but do not engage them unless it is necessary.
- [x] If combat erupts, be intimidating and flashy, but focus on the defence. Intercept and shut down attacks, but don't seriously harm anyone if you can help it.
- [x] Keep Kirika away from the fighting. She doesn't have a reliable way of subduing hostile megucas without resorting to her antimagic, and we want to keep that ability a secret until it becomes necessary to bust it out.

Y'see.. that's just fucking horrible. We threathened oriko with that much earlier in thread and it horrified a lot of us.

You're basically threathening them to a whole eternity of agony. Aka witching out.

I don't know if you even read some of the discussions when we got word about the war, a lot of effort has been fucking made to find a fucking diplomatic solution here.

This shit is not going to be easy. Stop trying to find shortcuts.

Can we make grief clothes/bits for our companions to make even more of an impact? I mean, one MG with grief wings/weapons is scary, but FOUR?

EDIT: Also, I get the feeling that we also need to save the fukushima girls?

Are you just tossing ideas out as they come to you? It's feeling like you're just posting whatever; half of this shit is quite frankly a day dream, and half of it is just not at all pertinent.

It's a good vote, but attracting attention, before we arrive to extract them may be bad.
Rin and Sakura where hiding out in an alley. If we just run in guns blazing, we will lead their enemies to their hiding place and that could lead to unneeded trouble during the pickup. We don't know if the Ishinomaki girls have any long range capabilities. Could we try to get to their location stealthily and then go all out for the escape? Or at least get their current location and situation, before we make a power play.

Regular science yes, SCIENCE of the sort that would have Mami, Homura and literally everyone else gunning for us is right out.

...That's a good point. I've edited to vote to make it somewhat less dumb. That said I don't think it's a good idea for us to attempt stealth. We want to be noticed by them, and being stealthy is borderline impossible anyway if we want to move quickly.

Got an idea on how to get Rin's location:
  1. Land on top of a skyscraper. Preferably one that is too high for the usual MG rooftop running.
  2. Get Rin to describe the skyscrapers surrounding them.
  3. Use that to pinpoint their general location
  4. Head there, use grief sense to find them
or the civillian approach
  1. Ask Rin what street or road they are hiding at
  2. ask a local how to get there
  3. Do all of this in civillian mode to evade detection

Active grief light up on a meguca's senses like a Christmas tree. If we fly at all we are going to be attracting attention, so being stealthy is kinda out of the question if we want get on top of a skyscraper.
