... Why is it called 'emotional baggage', anyway, when the term 'grief case' could exist.
... I like it!
Also, hooray for Koko being receptive!

She's quite literally looking down on someone, too.I don't really get that impression at all. She looks slightly smug to me.
Awesome fanart! That reminds me that I'm dying to see fanart of Sabrina and Mami's wedding..
I suggest enchanting the hammer to keep it moving at a constant speed after it's thrown. You can't go wrong with perpetual motion machines. But really, let's just hit that witch really hard. Not in a Dissoluzione Bianca sort of hard, maybe we can practice our hammer throwing?
Timestop! Hammertime!Maybe even try to summon hammers already flying at Sufficient Velocity.
I'd agree that we shouldn't discuss them right now, but I think we should be honest about their existence. So, 'be honest with Kyouko' is one thing... but I think we can agree to not bring up the other bombs right now?
I mean, if we say we don't have anything to bring up, it wouldn't be the complete truth... but it wouldn't be a lie... just a white lie.
She wants to end this part of the conversation so I don't think she will press immediately on what they are. Lying about their existence here would make her trust us less when we do drop anything on her."I need to move," she grunts. "Been sitting for too long. You done dropping bombs? If y' are, we're gonna go kill a Witch. Talk on the way."
I'm thinking phrasing that'll let her ignore any further bomb talk for the time being if she wants.I'd agree that we shouldn't discuss them right now, but I think we should be honest about their existence.
Something like "I'm done dropping bombs for today, but there are other things which you deserve to know but are extremely tough to handle and I'm not ready to discuss those right now. Or in the near future."

By the way, remember the trick Mami used that let her keep her musket still in the air, casually blocking one of Sayaka's attacks?
I don't think I commented nor do I think I saw anybody do so, so as obvious as it sounds, do you think it has to do with hammerspace?
What if part of the musket was in hammerspace? We know that meguca can't interact with each other's hammerspace, so would it be possible to 'fix' an object in 3D space by moving it 'slightly' 4Dimentionally?
Does this even make sense? The intrincacies of 4+D escape me.
By the way, remember the trick Mami used that let her keep her musket still in the air, casually blocking one of Sayaka's attacks?
She probably used invisible ribbons of some sort to hold it in place.
She probably used invisible ribbons of some sort to hold it in place.
And said she would teach us, but I think this would amount to the same thing I said. IIRC, 'invisible' Ribbons are Ribbons going through 4D space, so whether she's holding the musket with invisible ribbons or not, she's still willing it into place through... Ribbons in 4D space... her musket is also made out od Ribbons.Unlikely, since whatever the trick is, she was able to teach it to Kyouko.
Of course, by pockets she means hammerspace. We most definitely can put a Chibi of ourselves on Mami's pocket."I know what you're thinking," Mami says, tapping your nose. "It doesn't work."
"What doesn't?" you ask, smiling innocently at her.
"Teleporting yourself by putting yourself into the pocket," Mami says.
"... dangit," you say, huffing. "You got me."
"I had the same thought too," Mami says. She takes your hand, fingers gliding gently over your knuckles and stopping on your Soul Gem ring. "This becomes an anchor. You can't bring your Soul Gem with you, and... the pocket is very unpleasant to be in. And, um, I had no way to move in the real world, with just my Soul Gem, but that's different for you."
You laugh and beam at Mami. "I should have known you'd already know better than I do about this kind of thing," you say. "At the very least, I would guess I can streamline travel by reducing the surface area exposed to air, so that's nice. And probably get into smaller areas. Do you think your ribbons can connect to my, ah, pocket?"
"No," Mami says, shaking her head. Her smile turns a little melancholy. "I've tried it - you can't connect to other people's pockets."
... For hammerspace, maybe the reason why meguca can't interact with each other's hammerspace is just because the chances of using the same slice of 3D space through the 4th dimension as each other is just about nil?Mami purses her lips thoughtfully. "I suppose... there's nothing really preventing magic from granting infinite orthogonality?"
If meguca can't connect to each other's hammerspaces, how could Mami possibly place our Chibi in her hammerspace? Wouldn't the Chibi be part of us, at least as long as it actually exists, possesses our magic?"So I found that I seem to have an effective 4-space available to me that I can actually access," you say as you walk. "And it's how you hide your teacups, right, Mami?"
"Mmmhm!" Mami agrees.
"The thing is... I didn't see anything else in there when I stuffed my chibi in there. Just my Soul Gem," you say. "I'm kind of wondering..." You wave your hand aimlessly in the air, narrowly missing a passerby. "Does every magical girl have their own 4-space?"
Which brings to mind the notion that it might be a proto-Barrier of sorts. Ugh.
Mami purses her lips thoughtfully. "I suppose... there's nothing really preventing magic from granting infinite orthogonality?"
"I kinda want to try having you ribbon and hide one of my chibis," you say. "Just to test it."
"That's a good idea," Mami agrees. "We can definitely try that at some point."
"Also," you say with a grin. "Have you ever thought about trying to use it for armour piercing attacks?"
"I have!" Mami says brightly. "It doesn't work as well as you'd think... well, it does for bypassing, ah, mundane blockages, but Witches..." Mami shakes her head. "A Witch's defense isn't really physical, you know? Trying to come at it from a different angle still means you have to fight against its magic."
"Ah," you say, and pout. "... actually, I kind of wonder how it'd work with Miss Tsuruya's enchanted buildings."
"I think it'd be a contest between your magics," Mami says. "Maybe? I'm not sure how her powers work..."
"Could be worth finding out!" you say. "Or... what about running a ribbon through 4-space to an arbitrary exit point?" You smile, and hold up your left hand with the loop of golden ribbon gleaming on it.
Faint red dusts Mami's cheeks. "Ah... I already have that," she says. "It's how I make ribbons, ah, intangible?"
"Oooh," you say. "Brilliant. Should've expected that."
And well. You take a deep breath as you sit down. "GOOOOOOOOD MORNING MITAKIHARA!" you bellow into telepathy.
"You're late!" Sayaka complains.
"Good morning, Sabrina," Hitomi says primly. "I must say, Sayaka is right."
"Well excuuuuuse me," you say. "I didn't know it was my duty to keep everyone on the straight and narrow."
Sure, but you'll never get LNN if you just bomb the boss to death.[jk] Kill the hunted witch with bombs made of grief
we can do this right?
Post-Madoka, yes.
Unlikely, since whatever the trick is, she was able to teach it to Kyouko.
