"Deep breaths," murmured Sabrina. "You're doing fine..."
Homura's shaking subsided bit by bit, her head buried against Sabrina's shoulder.
A few minutes passed until the time traveller finished calming down, yet the taller girl still held her close. Homura did not complain.
In the end, she pulled away, and Sabrina let go... mostly, her hands still holding Homura's shoulders.
"You're OK?" she asked, looking straight into Homura's eyes.
Homura nodded, rubbing away at her eyes with the back of her hand.
Then she held up Aurora once more.
"Wait," blinked Sabrina, "I though I had that- when did you..."
A subtle smirk flashed through Homura's lips before the girl stared intently at the Seed once more.
"Stop, that's a bad idea," Sabrina tried to take the Seed but Homura turned around, blocking it from sight. "Homura, what are you doing, you don't have to keep trying, just..." she kept trying to take back the Seed, but her dark haired friend easily dodged her grasping hands, keeping the Seed away while staring at it in concentration.
"I'm fine," murmured the quiet girl.
"Come on, Homura," Sabrina snatched at the Seed, her fingertips grazing only at Homura's hand.
The dark haired girl sighed and, with her back against Sabrina, held the Seed as far away from her body as possible, her off hand helping hold the Grief controller so she couldn't just step around her.
Try as she might, despite her longer limbs, Sabrina could not quite reach the Seed.
Instead, she pulled her arms back, giving Homura a tight hug and a bright smile.
"Can I have the Seed, pleaaaaase?"
Homura looked up, meeting Sabrina's cheerful visage with yet another flat stare.
"No."
Sabrina pouted.
Homura would have crossed her arms, would that action not have brought the Seed into Sabrina's arms' reach.
Of the two, the time traveller was definitely the most patient girl.
So Sabrina relented. "Fine... just one more try, OK?" she let go of Homura yet again.
Homura nodded, turning to examine the Seed once more.
"Happy thoughts..." she murmured.
Sabrina had a flash of anxiety as she felt the surge of magic from Homura's Gem, stronger this time, but held back on physically restraining her friend... again.
Her eyes widened as a brigh pink link emanated from Homura's hands, the focused girl not reacting as the magical, emotion fueled light was quickly absorbed into the Seed.
The light came out brighter and brighter, the feeling of magic weighting on the girls' senses more and more... until with a flash of light it spiked... and slowly died down.
Both girls rubbed at their eyes, blinking away spots.
Once she could see again, Sabrina found the Seed being presented to her, balancing on Homura's palm.
"Uh..." she mumbled, taking it, noticing the physical change first and foremost.
To her magical senses, the inside of the Seed felt... happier, she guessed?
"I guess it's not a Clear Seed any longer," commented Sabrina, smiling. "Congratulations, Homura, you just created the world's first Pink Seed."
Homura shrugged.
After contemplating the pink coloured Seed for a moment, Sabrina hummed in thought. "... You know, if this helps with de-Witching, I might ask you to repeat this process with, uh, every Seed I can get my hands on?"
Homura blinked. Her eyes stared into Sabrina's, finding only complete and total honesty in them, no trace of levity or joking.
Homura gulped.
