There's a problem in that going there right now... might not achieve anything, as Asunaro is a city, so we're unlikely to just find Hijiri by flying around.

... If it really is Hijiri who stole the Seed (if the Seed was stolen).

We should also keep in mind the Pleiades are meguca, and they can pull their own weight. So telling them to stick together and going back to sleep could work rather well.
 
I'm definitely voting for go now. Whoever stole that Clear Seed is a threat to the Pleiades and to our plans for peaceful distribution, and we need to make sure they understand that shit isn't going to fly.

Not to mention the danger if it's one of the villains active in the city. It may not be, but if it is we need to stomp their operation into the ground before they become Lex Luthor-guca and develop Grief Kryptonite like Kirika.

After all, if we're gonna search a whole city for one meguca thief, that's likely gonna take a long time. Not something we can do now and be back before 10, or to do in between 10 and 15.

So, if Niko's health wasn't targeted, go the fuck back to sleep. The Pleiade can start searching for the culprit in the morning, and we can join them later.

Way I see, it, we're not at the point where we should commit yet. We still need to assess the situation and solve everything that can be solved by just talking.


I think that, plus some preliminary preparation, is this vote. (For instance, do we want to consider taking Oriko and/or Kirika? If so we should probably mention them and their role in our intervention.)

Once we have a handle on everything then we can decide for certain.

We'll also need to select people to leave behind. For one thing, if we go we will need people in Mitakihara to hold the fort and deal with our responsibilities here in case Asunaro is in a sensitive place and we can't afford to leave it when Nadia arrives.
 
Better to ask Sakura to give/sell us a copy of her power, rather than ask her to ferry us around.

We need ways to make Sayaka feel useful, and putting her on transportation duty will do that.
We also want to minimize contact with Sakura, especially woken-up-early!Sakura.

I would feel more strongly about this if it weren't, apparently, a fifteen-minute flight to and from Asunaro.

Setting Sayaka up with teleport powers also factors into my "move Oriko and Kirika to an unmapped island somewhere and leave them there until they recover so they stop stressing Homura out" plan. I know Sayaka doesn't like Oriko, but I'll bet she'd be willing to cooperate with actions that actively remove Oriko from Mitakihara.

I'm hopping onto the 'go back to sleep' train, as I don't believe rushing right now would help when we need to hunt a lone meguca in a big city.

Kanna Hijiri prefers to work through proxies; we don't know how many Hyades has, but Airi is the most likely culprit of the ones we know, either herself or through Evil Nut patsies. Remember, this wasn't just a smash-and-grab, Niko was attacked, and it's implied she lives alone, so Saki and the others wouldn't be immediately to hand as reinforcements. This is something that needs to be rectified going forward, as Niko is and always has been a VIP with a target painted on her back.

I'd favor an immediate and decisive response: Homura should know the stakes, since (if I recall correctly) we told her about the potential both for Dawn of Hyades being created and for the Pleiades helping us crack dewitching; we can explain to her that Niko is the key operator in that regard. Also, Homu doesn't sleep, she waits. We can ring her up immediately, discuss the situation, and decide whether to bring the Pleiades with us when we hyperjet in, but Asunaro is absolutely a snowball situation-- if we don't nip Hijiri's horseshit in the bud, things will spiral out of control.

Also, consider the following: The Asunaro Purge is likely to have inadvertently neutralized quite a few of Hijiri's contacts and proxies. Asunaro is implied to be overpopulated with meguca, and the/one of the primary power blocs in the city is currently at half strength. We expected someone to move on them while Kazumi and co. were away.
 
I'm with Happening. We need to drop in there and make them feel like they pissed off the USA and now the whole damn Air Force, Army, and Navy are knocking at their door, and there may or may not be a Marine breaching charge on the other side of the kitchen. They feel like they're sitting on a throne of gold, we tell them to look down, look back, the Throne is now made of TNT, and we're holding the match.

They just stole a rightfully gifted Clear Seed. I.E. Attempted theft of a Weapon of Mass Despair. We need to go in like Seal Team Six and so completely ruin their day that Meguca six prefectures away are whispering about how you don't fuck with the Mitakihara girls and sure as hell don't fuck around with Clear Seeds.

This is going to Tokyo too. Let's show them why they don't have to be afraid of anyone trying to powerplay and horde Clear Seeds. We Are the Power Play.
 
Mami should go to school since she can trust Kazumi and her friends with Sabrina or the other way around.
We could just get Homu to time drop us off then back to Madoka.

We should get Yuuki to hack err check the Shizuki's company in depth just in case.
Honesty it would be interesting if they're a front for Yakuza since Sabrina can deal with it more cold manner since they're adults and its organized crime.
