We're going to need an "Away Team" soon for crap like this.

So the real question is, are we delegating (tell Kazumi & Co. they can handle it on their own, which is probably true)? Are we taking the supersonic Griefplane? With or Without timestop?

How seriously should we treat this? Hijiri is by no means a weak opponent, but we didn't metabomb the Pleiades, so is it safe to tell them it's her? Should we even do so? What's the risk when Kyuubey overhears?

I say we deal with this directly, using timestop to shorten the time we spend. As for our team, the Pleiades, Mami, Homura, maybe Kirika?

We could not mention Hijiri at all to the Pleiades, instead saying that we're worried about the Clear Seed. Which would be true.

Right, it could be the Soujus, or... Yuuri, I think it was? Or someone new. Perhaps an unaffiliated meguca heard about the Clear Seed, and decided to take it?

I am disappointed at Sabrina for not responding with "sounds legitimate!" cause that explanation sounds more like a cover for a Yakuza/Mafia protection racket/Loan Sharks than a real business.

Anyways, Sounds like time to pile our current party into MOF and make an overnight flight to Ashruno. No need to wake Sayaka for this. But should we inform Homura that we're heading out? I don't want to wake her if she is sleeping, but I don't want her to worry that we've disappeared.

We know that OTL Hijiri probably could've been swayed by knowledge of why Nico wished her into existence. If the same is true here then hypothetically all we need to do is go to Asunaro, interrogate Nico, and draw Hijiri into speaking with us.

We can propagate sound waves past our grief control limit and we have tech guca access. We could also just outright jack a radio frequency. Getting a message to Hijiri shouldn't be hard.

Now it's time to post this and get a reply from somebody saying "it cant be that easy."

And maybe not. But a catgirl can hope T_T

If it's the middle of the night, we could take Mami, the Pleiades, and anyone else who wants to come (without leaving Mitakihara defenseless), and go hunting, probably.

If it's already morning, we might want to wait a bit. Walk Mami to school, receive the Shiogama girls...

... Then I think this would be a perfect chance for something.

Tell Homura that since Mami already missed school yesterday, she can't miss out today, but it'd be foolish to go to Asunaro expecting trouble without backup.

Fortunately, we have two pairs of idle hands sitting around, who don't go to school.

So I say we 'forcefully' recruit our prisoners for a mission.

Well, the flashback didn't show Kazumi killing Yuuri's Witch with the Saints, so I assume it was after Kazumi died, but before they came up with/enacted the Jyubey plan. It would tie in with the Saints being standoffish after the fight as well, before just ditching Airi.

[] If it's late enough, telepathy everyone, inform them of the situation, and reassure them you've got it under control.
-[] If it's really early, telepathy only Homura.

I think we need to know what time it is before deciding on a course of action.

Isn't Hijiri the girl who could impersonate Niko? If so, then we need to treat this as a full emergency, like timestop-hunting Oriko.

Which means we're going to need that lie detector construct for making sure that this Niko is the real, original one.

Beyond that, timestop to deliver a full infodump about Hijiri, as well as metabomb them.

And yes, if we go to Asunaro, we're taking the supersonic Griefplane in timestop. If we're just dropping the Asunaro girls off, then we're still taking the Griefplane in timestop.

Timestop is the only way to deal with this before the Shiogama girls arrive.
 
Also, to toss some paranoia fuel onto this mystery, Hijiri did impersonate Nico in the Manga after she died. might want to meet up to check and see if we still have the same Nico, Cause pressuring Hijiri to talk about Hijiri so we can go and talk to Hijiri about how Hijiri made Hijiri to take the place of Hijiri might be a bit much.

Edit: Also, I don't think we would be able to use timestop here in conjunction with Kazumi here. Homura has had issues with letting people she doesn't trust into her timestop. Not only has Kazumi shown the ablility to copy other ablilties, but Homura doesn't know her at all.

Calm down. We don't know if it's Hijiri yet. It'd be odd for her to be active this early anyway.

Anyway, my plan is simple:

Calm down the Cinnammon Roll.
Find out what happened.
Get the Pleiades back at Asunaro to stick together.
Inform our friends.

Go to Asunaro:

- After informing our friends, tell them we're taking Oriko and Kirika along for support. Since it's an emergency trip, we can't have idle hands, nor should we take away too much of Mitakihara's defenses.
-- If necessary, argue that we might have to deal with actual crazies at Asunaro. Oriko's sane. Akiko's sane enough. Asunaro is pants. Even if Homu objects, having Oriko watch our back will be for the best.

- If it's super early, ask if Mami wants to come along. Else, ask her to go to school and promise we'll be fine.

- Ask Sayaka if she wants to come along. Warn her it might be very dangerous.
