@Firnagzen, that was flat-out incredible. Holy fucking shit. Catgirl about fell out of bed laughing at moments in there, nya!
Get Dunked on Blueberry.
Well, that should seem familiar to people!Blade-shot booms out. The hilt goes flying, and Sayaka spins, cape fluttering. Swords stab into the ground around her in an arc, only for twirling kicks to flick the swords into her hands for a rolling thunder of shots.
Don't softball it. We're garbage at melee, with Sayaka having defeated us in it on multiple occasions already. If there's a lesson to teach here, we can't teach it by going easy on her.
Kyoko's trying to make a point here with us not using any form of Grief. Let's stick to what Melee-Senpai wants, instead of taking every opportunity to SCIENCE!!11!!oneone! It's her show, not ours.We should probably at least use nanogrief as a method of second sight to augment our capabilities I think. It give us a chance to practice reacting to that input and it's not an active use of grief.
If we hound Sayaka well enough, she will be forced to fight us seriously instead of going at Kyouko. While that would almost surely be a loss for Sayaka, we'd still have to actually fight Sayaka at pure melee.Odds are the best we can do here is try to push Sayaka from an "objective vs obstacle" sort of setup. If she's fighting us she's missing the objective; if she's tunnel-visioning Kyouko she's, well, tunnel-visioning. Of course, given how shite we are at melee, this'll be as hard for us as for Sayaka...
And on top of that, Kyouko wants us to try to stop Sayaka from swapping powers.
...
Oh.
Hey, I think I see a way for us to win this. I'm not sure we'd want to go for it -- in fact, I don't think we do -- but if we wanted to we could aim for Sayaka's keychain-thing. I don't think I like that idea -- might damage important stuff, might get us sworded.
Eh, perhaps we'll just do our best?
[] Ganbatte, Sabrina-chan!
-[] Work in actively disrupting Sayaka's attempts to target Kyouko as a primary objective.
Can just,-[ ] Her Swords are faster than your Hammer, and you need to keep up the pressure. Remember to make liberal use of attacks that are not heavy swings with the head; Use the shaft, jab with the head, punches and kicks, use the weight of the hammer as counterweight to aid in movement, etc.
--[ ] Can we use rock baseballs as a ranged attack? Or can we summon non-grief baseballs as extension of our weapon?
Thoughts?
You know, I still want to try lenghtening the shaft of the warhammer and attempt to use it as a poleaxe... but we just happen to in a place where short weapons are better.

We've been doing less micro.
Is Sabrina any good with her fists? Warhammers don't seem ideal for this.
Right, I meant to write 'polearm'.Okay. What's your thoughts on the baseball idea? Or we could try throwing hammers.
And I'm pretty sure that's called a Lucern Hammer, not a Poleaxe.
Magical girls, dude.Is Sabrina any good with her fists? Warhammers don't seem ideal for this.
We could, but we're probably better off with a single warhammer.
We shall become PunchGuca, our long lost cousin. Is Sabrina any good with her fists? Warhammers don't seem ideal for this.
It's not our training. This is Sayaka's. It's her time to learn and improve, and we shouldn't muck the lesson up by doing something unorthodox. To help ourselves in improving? This is training, a time to experiment and practice.

That out of the way, no. Sabrina is horrible in melee even with her Mace. I doubt she'd fare better with her fists.
Homura has her Soul Gem on the back of her hand too. Does this mean she has brain damage too?!So telling Kyouko about Mika confirmed.
