I suspect that all we'll have to say is "The daughter of the previous owner of the church is a magical girl and is somewhat conflicted about it" and Mika will figure out everything past that herself.
 
So I remember that Magia Record comes up on this thread occasionally and how people wonder how it'll possibly fit in into Adfligo Systema.

All I have to say is that what's is happening Kamihama City is weird. Not Asunaro "everything makes sense when you realize that 90% of the MGs are some degree of batshit" weird. I mean Kamihama City is outright bizarre. Basically, what's going on is,

  • Mitama actually brings up the possibility of the memory of Ui being fake, but Iroha chooses to trust it.

There's also the case of Ui (the little sister of the MC of Magia Record) showing up in one of Homura's timestops telling her to come to Kamihama City if she wants to save Madoka.

The only thing I can think of is that Ui's wish when she became a Magical Girl caused lots of stuff to go bonkers as well as sorta retconning herself out of existence.

Yeaaaah, but it's not getting demolished tomorrow. Or even this month. I dunno something tells me we can afford to wait a week.
 
I feel like it's more about... us being bothered that Kyouko doesn't have a say in what happens to her old home. Even if that say is "Do what you want."

She used to live there, back when she was happy. She ought to at least have the opportunity to try to reclaim it.
 
Also businesses don't just decide to tear down old buildings for no reason. They've probably got the plans for the new buildings, the permits, the licensees they need, and have sunk a lot of money into their preparations to make a new building to make them more money. On top of that, they would have purchased the property from either the bank or the city, depending on who ended up with the church. The earlier you stop them, the less money they've thrown at the plan, and more likely it is that they'll stop. We will probably need to find a way to shore up the millions of dollars yen that they've sunk on this project already if we want the church to still stand. I... doubt Nakano Mika will be able to convince her family to just hand it over.

On an unrelated note, we need to sing Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up" when we get past this to karaoke night. For reasons.

Incidentally, would Flight and Juggernaut be a good simple combo? Unstoppable movement and movement in all three dimensions at will.
 
Sayaka's got her own flying platform, which would probably, usually be better in combat, as it allows her to jump off things.

Chouko's flight power comes with wings, which require a wholly different fighting style.

Sayaka's probably better off training half and half, no powers and juggerpowers (with flying platform maybe).

At some point though she'll probably test 'the power of flight' vs 'flying came with the package'.

You know, I wonder if seeing Mami and Sabrina dating might move Sayaka or Hitomi to ask out Kyousuke earlier than they would otherwise. They wouldn't be the first in the group to be in a relationship anymore - helps avoid teasing, etc. - and Mami+Sabrina probably make dating look pretty appealing.

As a side note, when it happens, I think that Homura's romance realizations will probably arrive nearly simultaneously. "Sabrina is shipping MadoHomu", "Wait what was that thought", and "Everyone approves of girls loving girls" lead directly to each other from any starting point. How do we think she's going to take that, and do we need to have a response lined up and ready to go? Like, maybe some flowers and orders to go give them to Madoka?

I am curious now as to exactly how far ahead of schedule we would be if Kwyjibo drama started up tomorrow.

Somebody better versed in the show's timeline help me out here. Sayaka was going to die in a couple of days in this timeline if she hadn't been moved, but that's probably unrelated to the boy wonder this time around. Best I can figure it is, we'd still be about 7-10 days ahead of the loop described in the show, as in that loop, as best as Ican remember, Sayaka and Kyoko only died a couple of days before WPN, but I am confident somebody here has better information.
