Part of the point of not being smooth about it... Well, Redshirt's rewording added a bit of jerkiness, but regardless, it's honestly more important to get the points across in a good order with that bit than it is for it to flow.
Agreed that getting the points across is more important; I don't think I lost any other than that Homura was the one that found them and that we spent an entire day in timestop before Sayaka's even gotten to the hospital. Smoothing out the jerkiness heightens the emotional impact all by itself, gives Sabrina much more leeway to fine-tune the delivery (more room for enunciation), and gives Sayaka fewer chances to interrupt. If you want that, no reason you can't have it. I can definitely see some awkwardness being desirable. Just wasn't certain it was intentional and wanted to check and propose tweaks.

Opening the quest with "you're an anime where I come from" was probably a reasonable thing to do. Creepy, but that can be overcome.
Thing is, while that may be our knowledge, that seems to be one of the few disconnects between us and Sabrina- she's not aware where her thoughts come from, nor lots of other meta things. It seems more like she remembers stuff with no obvious reason for the memories.

Well have we ever really tried?

Like what would happen if we voted to explain it to someone? I think early on we considered that the most important part of the 'metabomb' to keep secret for some damn reason, and it's never really come up since then.

Honestly usually stuff comes up in updates if we talk about it enough. We have talked about Sabrina's mind being a quest thread so many times and at great length that if Sabrina was aware in universe it would have come up by now.

Some of the thread would actually prefer Sabrina to not view her reality as an anime.

I'm more of a cell-shade guy myself. :V

In any case, from what I can tell Sayaka doesn't give two and a half fucks about Oreo so we can basically ignore that unless it's relevant, and if it is, leave is as "We chopped her up like asparagus and tossed her in a secure location to cool down" for now.

What we need to do is apologize to Sayaka for keeping her in the dark. We have decent excuses, if she wants to hear them, but really we feel awful about it and half the reason we did it is because we were afraid we'd make her angry at us, and we're sorry we kept silent just to avoid the confrontation.

If she wants to, let her hit us. She kinda deserves it; we were something of a sociopathic cunt to her, so she gets at least one free hit. If not, hug it out and sis it up with best paladin until she's calm enough to be rational and not break Mamis shit again.

Oops. Probably shouldn't have brought that up.

Anyway, then we can get down to business again. Sabrina isn't a robot, and cares about her friends, but even Sayaka isn't dense enough not to notice she's super INTP: once she's not raging out because we kept secrets, she should be fine with us going back to our normal, super logic>>>>>>>emotional self. Yeah?

Did not see the vote suggestion.

[] "Your other question. I'm calm now. You remember Homura not letting you copy her power? That's partially because it's dangerous. Sayaka, that night, after we made sure you were safe, Mami, Homura, and I used it for 16 hours straight. We were angry, we were upset, we were scared, and we were not calm. We hunted Oriko down. Searched her house, combed the city, and when we eventually found them, we maimed them, broke them, and imprisoned them."

Homura never didn't let Sayaka copy her power, it hasn't come up. The "Homura found them" line is a compromise between not covering the bit where Mami and we decided to stop looking and sticking to the truth. I prefer contained to imprisoned because the subtext is less harsh.

Can you check the text that was in my vote? I think it actually flowed fairly well.

Some of the thread would actually prefer Sabrina to not view her reality as an anime.

This. Part of why PMAS is so great is that unlike many quests, it's not jerky. Votes are written around and filtered into stuff that reads like an actual story.

But forget Sayaka for a minute. There's more important stuff to worry about.

How are we gunna fix Mami's table?! :o

It's rather telling imo that in Perditur when we were told that last time we fucked up somehow the first thing the same voterbase did was go and spill secrets and be open with our friends for once.

Aware of it or not, I do think Sabrina does regret it >_>

[X] Redshirt Army

Once the Sayaka thing sorted we really should keep an eye on Hitomi due her lines.
Or perhaps you need my family's status to recruit her?"
She settles for glaring back at Sayaka, and then you.

I'm concern if she's the type to do those subtle revenge methods that can't be trace back to her on Oriko, Kirika and Sabrina as a warning. Also I wonder how family's status can even affect magical girls which lead to ideas of underworld or corporation style illegal methods. It always the quiet ones.

Templates like that are forbidden.
It all comes down to 'magic' anyway.
Yukariguca is fooling around again.
We should try repairing the table with Grief and see if it sticks. I doubt it, but maybe?
Hitomi will pay the replacement bill, much to Sayaka's chagrin. And it'll be huge and expensive and comes with golden kitchenware and a free turkey and candles and...
And a violinist to play music during dinner! :o

Mami rises to her feet, brushing off the broken glass. "Are you alright, Hitomi?"

"I am," Hitomi says, a sharp frowning cutting across her face. "She's the one who had my arm broken?"

"Yes," you confirm, jaw tight. "Sayaka, are you OK?"

"I-" Sayaka scowls, furious. "How can you take it so calmly? She-"

"Sit down, Sayaka," Hitomi snaps, voice cracking like a whip. "Hear Sabrina out."
I think Sayaka is asking why Hitomi is calm about the person breaking her arm.
You're the last one still sitting. "No, that's alright," you say, standing. Broken glass cascades off your legs and skirt, falling to the floor with little tinkling noises. Something to clean up later.

You meet Sayaka's eyes. "She's also the one who burned your house down," you say. "That's wh-"

"What?!" Sayaka snarls. She storms forward, heedless of the glass, and grabs you by the front of her shirt. "She- she's the one- she nearly killed my parents and- you- you didn't tell me-"

She's all but shaking in anger.
As for this.
[x] No I didn't, mostly because at the time there was little you could have done to help the situation, in addition to that there is likely not much worse you could do to her after what we already did to her, after all Homura took a machine gun when we hunted her down and ah.......
-[x]'she kinda did it to save your life so she probably made sure your parents would live?

Do remember that Hitomi isn't actually a mob princess. Hitomi isn't going to try to take revenge on us.

The intrigue is killing me!

[Q] Casually shove Sayaka away.
-[Q] Ask Hitomi if she's a Yakuza princess.
--[Q] ... If she says no, ask her if she would be interested in being a Yakuza princess. See, you've got these plans to found an hotel...
