Indeed . Mami Mami Mami Mami Mami.
Indeed. Mami.

Think of Mami.

Cherish Mami.

Do it for Mami.

DO IT FOR HER.

Wait.

... Somebody quick! We need a DO IT FOR HER with Mami pics!

We need to look into Tsubaki Mikoto. Asking Mami about her tonight and Bennouna about her tommorow would be an excellent start. She's a magical girl (woman?) in her twenties, and the adoptive mother of a whole group of younger meguca, some of which go batshit after her death.

Sabrina: Can I put you down as mom for my fake ID's?
Mikoto: .....
Mami: ... Sabrina.

I think we should help Hitomi acquire Kwyjibo, just so Sayaka doesn't Witch out from dealing with having him as a boyfriend.
He's not that bad. If the Extra Route of the PSP game is any indication, having Kyousuke as a boyfriend actually does wonders for Sayaka's mood and sanity under the right conditions. Granted, separate timelines/universes and all that shenanigans, but it actually worked out well with Kyousuke being super supportive of Sayaka being a Magical Girl.

Like, we might have to check if his mom capital-w Wished for a prodigy son, that's so fucking impressive.
If so, you'd think that she would have healed his hand, or hired Rin to do so, rather than waiting for us to do it.

We're about to be dealing with Orikobombing Sayaka.

Let's not bring Koko up right now.
And when we do bring up Kyouko, let's not do it in front of an audience. Dragging her personal traumas out into public would be a pretty cruel thing to do to Mami.

I can't really recall the timeframe of Suzune Magica, but it might be too late for her. But even if it is, we could potentially save the other girls.

The timeframe of Suzune is ambiguous. For all we know Tsubaki Mikoto could be just starting out as a meguca and is a complete newbie. We have no clue. But given the trends laid out by Mado wish, we'll have a chance to save her.

Healing is grief-expensive; it may not have been viable for her. Or she may be dead.

There's no compelling evidence that his mother is an MG, of course, but as a hypothesis I don't see any holes in it... mainly because of lack of evidence: we don't know anything about Kowabunga's friends or family (outside of Sayaka and Hitomi).

We could probably ask Homura if any previous timeline had Kyoto finding out about magic and bringing up possible family connections to the matter? Though really, I'm not sure if Krakatoa would've even noticed if that was the case.

Speaking of Homura, I think we should probably let her have the leftovers. They'll stay fresh in her shield forever, and it'll give her something to eat other than instant ramen.

Personally, think that spice tastes delicious, but it also causes me physical pain. Still worth it for milder doses though. Indian food ranks among my favourites.

Anyway, based on what Urobuchi said, Kyousuke struggles to see Sayaka as an actual "girl", which actually does happen IRL. Also, based on the PSP game, he believes that he is not Sayaka's type and is very surprised when Homura tells him that Sayaka has a crush on him. In addition, he is clearly depressed and has little self-esteem beyond his musical skills, which explains why he focuses on them. He sees them as the only part of himself with actual worth. It's a feeling I can identify with and he's actually very similar to Sayaka in that way. I wouldn't be surprised if his oblivious is partly due to the idea of someone being attracted to him is a foreign concept to him. Again, something I can identify with and another way that he is similar to Sayaka, who believed she had become repulsive. Also, as someone who struggles to identify the emotions of those around me, I can sympathise with his obliviousness.

That said, I agree that Tsubaki would be very important to meet if we can. It'd be high priority if it weren't for all the other disasters we have to deal with right now. Still, t's something that should be persued.

Let me try and think something up to explain that. Plot Holes inbound. *Missile noises*

Violin!Mom wished that she would someday have a child that was a musical prodigy. She didn't wish for the child right then and there, but someday when she's married Violin!Dad.

Years passed, the wish ultimately became meaningless to her and she lost whatever passion she had for music as family, her profession and MGing took priority. True to PMMM fashion, the wish came back to bite her.

She got what she wished for, a Musical Prodigy, a modern Mozart, and a musical genius by all accounts, but she didn't get a son.

Violin Boy and Violin Mom are related by blood, but the relationship remains cool. He never talks about anything besides his craft and has clearly surpassed her in terms of pure skill so she really has nothing to contribute to his growth besides the same stories and lessons over and over again. He stays locked up inside his room playing the Violin all day and hurriedly finishes his meals with the family so he could go back and practice, and whatever family outings and bondings they have hardly deserve to be called such.

One of the worst feelings a parent could ever experience is the feeling that their's a untenable rift between them and their children.

Violin Mom doesn't want to stiffle Kyosuke's talent, hence the lessons, but when an accident broke his hand and the doctors told them recovery is impossible, she didn't act.

Maybe it's because she's sworn off the MG lifestyle, living off several years worth of Grief Seeds or only occasionally hunting, but Violin Mom believes that this is ultimately good for Kyosuke even if it does break her heart to see him like that.

She can secretly heal him at a later date once he's learned that there's more to life than his Violin. Besides, there's that nice pair of girls that keep on visiting him, so he's sure to get back up from his bout with depression with their help.

Maybe then, Kyosuke would finally spend some time with dear old mom. A MG's life is fragile, and she doesn't want to end it without ever getting to know who her son is.
