Kwijibo doesn't lower the violin, frowning in absent concentration. "No, I think my fingering could be better," he says. "Fiddle music is slightly different from violin music."
Jeez man, Maybe the issue is that your looking for technical perfection in a style of music that favors improvisational skill, mood, and showmanship. Heck you clearly were not have fun with the song as you should. Fiddlers are not a picky breed.

That said, I know jack-all about Fiddling and Violinist. So take my criticism with a side of salt.

Also, I bet K... god his name is hard to remember... Kiwiman is internally shedding tears for his violin as IIRC Fiddling (and Devil Went Down to Georgia in particular) is hard on the violin.

Hitomi's family 'lessons' might... cause you to reconsider. Punk.
She needs to learn how to manage a large business, with lots of moneys, personnel, guns, and one dastardly fellow who has recently struck at one of her workplaces, humilliated one of her head henchman, and burned down a diminute pile of her goods.

So troublesome.

When you are focussing on it to the exclusion of social interaction?
Sure. If it wasn't music he was good at we'd just be calling him an engineer.
Second possibility:Sexual interest, as it is , going towards own gender.
Possible but hard to prove given the low occurence of boys in this setting.
Or neither, or he's just not that interested. Hard as it may be to believe, there do exist people who could take or leave sex.

In the original versions of the Faust myth, Mephistopheles and Lucifer were separate demons, with Mephisto subservient to Lucifer.

Then came the version of Faust written by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, where Mephistopheles and no-one else is the devil.

Madoka Magica is loosely based on Faust, but contains references to the Goethe story. Thus Kyubey is Mephistopheles is the devil. Homura's ascension as Lucifer metaphorically returns things to the original version of Faust.
I'd say it's less of a return to the original Faust and more that it's now moving into Paradise Lost.

QB is more of the Faustian Mephistopheles/ Lucifer- the deceiver and trickster- while PL Lucifer, and Homucifer, is more of a rebellion against God or God's will.

Yep, thats it.
And I blame people, most probably his folks, telling him that he has such a great gift he should focus on it and not be distracted.... which he, being a quiet boy by nature and most probably really into his art , did to an unhealthy degree.
Pretty normal for great musicians, or, really, the masters of any art. Few things create results like complete obsession.

Really, it doesn't matter if he has social development if he doesn't have an interest in social interaction. It's just unfortunate for Hitomi and Sayaka that they're looking for love, when he's dedicated to his craft.

That said, he's not completely oblivious, just...mostly. He can still appreciate their support and help, and be a friend to them. He's just really bad at being considerate of others when he's lost the center of his universe and plunged into depression...which isn't exactly shocking.

"Doing quite well, thank you," Hitomi says, smiling. "It's a nice day to be out and not having extra lessons."

Sayaka makes a face. "Extra 'lessons'."

Hitomi shrugs. "It's a family thing," she says.
Yakuza training?

... seriously, Madoka? Aside from Sabrina and Homura, you're the one most likely to remember why joking about Nagisa and biting heads off is in really bad taste.
So absolutely not likely to remember at all?

What ever did happen to Mopman?

[X] "Jeeze... you can't end a picnic without ice cream."
-[X] Don't move for a few seconds
-[X] "I'm too fat to get the ice cream." Sadface.
[X] Quietly and carefully ask Mami if next time we should invite Kyouko.
-[X] To be honest... We'd like to help rebuild some bridges there. We're willing to stay by Mami for... well, really forever. But she'll need other friends too. People we can trust to be there for her if she needs it. Homura has Madoka to worry and fret over, and Sayaka is too new to really be in the running yet, though we're sure she'd do her best. Oriko and Kirika are obviously out... Right now, we're the only one here who can honestly say that we value her well being over basically everything else. But we can't be here forever and help everyone at the same time. If we have to leave Mitakihara - and Mami - to go help someone else, we'd like for there to be someone else we can trust. Someone Mami can trust. As badass as she is, she's a friend. Our best friend. We're going to worry.
-[X] magic doesn't need to come into things here; If for some reason Konaskewo decides to live up to his Assassin heritage and eavesdrop, he doesn't need to know the big secrets.

Since nobody else has prevented a vote, here's a initial one. I'm sure you guys will refine it into something unrecognizable, but I do know that a comfortable, warm environments and a full belly can do a lot to blunt a otherwise painful conversation, especially if approached at a obvious but somewhat oblique angle. And this is one we need to have (along with the Witch bomb).

I mean that in the sense of Homura becoming Lucifer and binding Mephistopheles/Kyubey to her will.

So Kyousuke is literally one of the best violinists in the world. Like, we might have to check if his mom capital-w Wished for a prodigy son, that's so fucking impressive.

Also, leave Madoka alone. Nagisa's not the one getting her head bit off, after all.

I stand convinced by now.Even given the girls are just beginning to explore romance and boys are always starting later, the guy is surrounded by ... SIX BEAUTIFUL GIRLS HIS AGE.
Of which two are rather-or were rather- heads over heels about him.
And he is fondling his musical instrument.
And ignoring them ALL.
Maybe he's... just not interested in any of them?
From what I've been told, even straight boys aren't necessarily attracted to every girl they know.
