That's not what this is about.

I'm not saying Madoka was unsaveable, or even that I disagree with what Homura Did.

But in the Madokaverse, friendship ON ITS OWN doesn't get very far. It needs to be backed up by something else.

Like, say, being able to remove Grief from someones soul in such a way as to potentially allow you to break the system without a Madokami Interrupt.

That'd do it.
But where would we find someone with such a power? It sounds completely gamebreaking, the meguca would've needed to have ridiculous potential before contracting, intimate knowledge about the system, goodwill to wish in such a way that would help others...

Impossible. I don't believe it.

Yeah I know it's bullshit right?

I mean, not to rain on your parade, but good luck finding a meguca like that, and then even better luck being able to convince anyone that she exists.

You can't change the system, man. KB's hold on it is too strong.

You'd need like, a million clones of this girl. Or one for every city with meguca on it.
And some kind of transportation.

Say, A combination of Mecha Zilla and Gurren Lagann. But you'd need to be some kind of Savant to fuse those. :V

Or direct control the incubator into helping remove the system while keeping the controller alive and not witch out.

The problem with "The Power of Friendship" in PMMM isn't that it isn't good enough on it's own, but that media and fiction feeds us a very fluffy, inadequate version of what friendship is. What kills people and undercuts the value of Friendship in PMMM-verse, much like in real life, is the lack of open communication between people who consider each other equals, and too much trying to put one's values over the other for their own good, self-sacrificing without respecting what the other person wants or believes.

Friendship isn't just two people liking each other a lot. That's just making a good first impression.

So I think we can all safely conclude that the Madoka universe will be sad forever and there will be no end to the suffering in some form or another, so we should just kill Urobutcher and put the Universe down like Old Yeller :V

Well, lets be fair, that tends (Or at least tended) to be the standard definition of 'Power of friendship' in most MG animes.

But yeah, I pretty much fully agree with you on this.

Considering her personality...they'd probably mutually annihikate.
But at what cost? Think of the collateral damage you could get from two witch-controllers running amok at each other.

Wait.

Witch controllers. Asunaro. Kazumi.

No, Higure! We cannot risk the Mumi friend and her magnificent hat becoming Sasa's slave! We dare not send her to Asunaro!
We are a hivemind, that means there's 2000% more power of friendship per kilogram of Sabrina.
Hiveminds contain more friendship, huh? You know who else is a hivemind? /人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\
