Anybody expecting to get an actual conversation out of Megane at this point is almost certainly fooling themselves. Pretty much anything Sabrina does is going to jam Megane's 'threat' button, because she's still invading Megane's place. I don't see Sabrina getting more than one or two more sentences out before Megane goes totally bursar.

Whatever those sentences are, they need to count, whether they're the magic words that calm her down or it's the One Thing that has to be conveyed before relations totally break down and all that's left are teenagers screaming at each other.

If it were me in this situation I'd just wait her out.
That's a good point. As long as Homura is willing to put up with Sabrina (and Megane) this can take as long as it has to.

Mind, I don't expect getting kidnapped in her room is likely to make her best buds with Sabrina. Or Mami. Or Homura. Maybe Sabrina can ask Rin to set her up with Sakura. She and Megane can found a 'We Hate Sabrina' club.

Kind of why I'm slightly leaning towards just blurting out soul gems are our souls. But then again, I've been wrong before.

The problem with waiting is that it risks Megane just flat out attacking us when we refuse to leave. Or she might just start yelling at us, which might actually be slightly helpful for her. It's difficult to say.

These are my sentence of choice:
[X] "You are killing yourself, Megane."
[X] "I can give you a minute if you'd rather talk outside, but we need to talk right now. And we will."
Not important enough? Not brief enough?
Kind of why I'm slightly leaning towards just blurting out soul gems are our souls. But then again, I've been wrong before.
"Kyubey took your Soul and put it in a Gem. You are killing yourself right now."

To clarify, @Muramasa, you're cool with defending ourselves if Megane attacks? Doing like a throw or something to remove her from a fight without actually doing any damage?

[] Say Nothing. Wait and Let her process.

[] Detransform

[] If she calms down enough for you to speak without being cut off:

-[] "We can have this conversation outside if you'd like. But we are going to have it."

-[] move in response

If you need to shock her up.
-[] "You were fated to die yesterday. Thats not hyperbole, a precog literally predicted you would die."

"It isn't a coincidence we found you."

Rough idea. Don't like dropping the soul bomb right off the bat.

i'm afraid leaving her alone is a bad idea also leaving her a grief seed at this point in time, not worth, maybe after the talk and tell her we can recycle seeds but if she gives them to QB we cant. We need to be not aggressive but forceful, she is lashing out and will continue until she realizes that its not going to work. also mention the danger and evil that is incubator!

[] "I'm sorry Megane. I'm afraid I can't do that. Your misconceptions about magical girls, witches and your magic need to be addressed tonight. Now. Your life depends on it."
[] "If you want a moment to collect yourself, that's fine. But we can't leave until we've had this talk. It's too important."
-[] Take one of your Grief Seeds (Andrea), and leave it on her bedside. Not the right moment for this.
-[] "You are burning through too much magic, too quickly. Your soul gem is darkening way too fast." include something from mami about how fast the average meguca uses a grief seed
-[] "You're killing yourself, Megane. That's what'll happen when your Soul Gem fills up completely, or when you go try to fight a Witch alone, while high on corruption. I told you, it effects your judgement in the worst way. It's an extremely dangerous position to be in." maybe more details of how a girl acts with lots of corruption? not necessary but might make the point hit home
-[] "And I can't have that. I can't have you ignorant of the dangers of this world you've been brought into."
might also want to add something of wishes affecting the mental state of a magical girl, akiko as an example even if it makes sabrina uncomfortable to bring up. also qb's tendacy to lie by omission to get maximum grief and despair from a magical girl as he is utterly alien being whose only goal is stopping entropy by harvesting magical girls despair. might reword this as it is very close to witchbomb.

[] If at anypoint Megane becomes violent or transforms, disconnect her from timestop.

i think restrain first and let her calm down that way is better than just casually returning her to timestop as just putting her in timestop doesnt give her time to calm down when we reconnect her.

those are all the issues i have with mura's vote at the moment. also i think we need to start planning for witchbomb reveal soon. maybe present it as the worst end for a magical girl but not the only end.

Thing also is, we're not sure exactly how she might it take it. Ideally, it'd make her stop for a minute and go "Wait, wut". Of course knowing our luck, it could also just make her freak out harder.

... and yes, I know I'm being really inconsistent and indecisive. Don't judge me.:p

Dammit, this is getting depressing. Our overeagerness and Ono's bitchiness is going to end in disaster. I might drum up something more lighthearted later on. Lighten the mood a little.

Could we offer to take this talk outside?

How?
That's fair. One moment.

Edit: done.

Also taking out the grief seed line for now, pending more discussion.

And why is it a bad idea?
Remember Akiko?

Anyway, my first thought is to accede to her demand: To get out. It can be approached as Sereg put it; it can just be, "We'll wait for you outside; join us when you're ready."; or a couple other similar methods. But the "Get out!" yelling feels like it's approaching a panic attack, and that leads nowhere good.

Give her a few moments to calm down on her own, but the awareness that we are sitting right on top of her house and won't be going away (and that she'll probably be stuck in timestop until this is over), and we might be able to have this discussion.

My first thought was that going out sounded like a bad idea... but that was before you pointed out that Sabrina could keep her in timestop.

It simultaneously gives her some space, shows that Sabrina's listening (at least a little,) and makes it abundantly clear that the encounter isn't over just because Sabrina & co walked out the door.

Hmmm ... Leaving while keeping her in timestop would work.

[] "That's fine. We'll wait for you outside, but this meeting is happening tonight. You're dying and I'm not leaving until you know how to stop doing so."
-[] While speaking, leave via her window. Create grief platform as invitation to follow.
-[] Leave her in timestop

Something like that?

In my opinion, that worked out.

Hmm. Okay that sounds doable, but I don't have time to change my vote right now. I'll see what I can do a few hours from now.

I'm just realizing we have something Ono wants.

[X] Bargain.
-[X] "You're dying. We need to talk, tonight. We'll get out, and you have five minutes to meet us outside. OK?"
-[X] As soon as you get an affirmative, disconnect her from timestop and go outside with Mami and Homura. End timestop.
--[X] (HERE GOES BARGAINING OPTIONS; fill in later)
-[X] Stay aware of Ono in your senses. If she doesn't start moving, remind her you're waiting after two minutes.

[x] Be gentle and comforting
[x] We can have this meeting elsewhere if you like. I will understand. But we're not leaving you alone while you are in danger.
[x] You are using up your magic too quickly. If we don't teach you to manage it properly, your gem will fill and you will die. I don't want you to die.
[x] We can teach you what you need to know here or elsewhere, but we are teammates and when any of us are in danger, we don't abandon them.
[x] If Megane becomes violent, use grief to pass my soul gem to Mami and tell Mami and Homura to let her be. Tank anything she dishes out. If she needs to learn the lichbomb this way, so be it.

Was going to suggest getting a pet with our money. Then I realized Ono is now our pet.

Our angry irritated princess pet.

Vote

[x] "Alright"

[x] We'll be on the roof when your ready. Five minutes.

Thinking that the exit is the best option presented this far. Not sure about how big the window is though. Might necessitate stepping on her bed to exit.

@Muramasa
We need less words. More meaning.

[] I'm sorry Megane, I can't do that. Your ignorance is killing you, so I'm not leaving until we've this talk.
[] If you want a moment to collect yourself, that's fine. If you'd like to do this outside, that's also fine. That's up to you.

I think this is about the maximum amount of words we have to convince her. The explanation part is fine, but the first part should be specially concise and severe.
