At least go for the Gilgamesh option before going for the Give Up option.
so we're forcing our will on everyone where they want it or not?
Why not call it the "Befriending" Option instead? Makes it seem a lot cuddlier, and we can do a perfectly functional cosplay of Nanoha if we want to go all the way. Think about it: Ono is just sitting in her house, thinking about how much she dislikes that jerk Sabrina, when suddenly "DIVINE BUSTER" and her house asplode. Shows her for being rude to a magical girl...

I like this idea XD

It's hard to put into words.

Our opinion of Ono wasn't ever exactly high, and judging for her apparent chosen powerset, neither is hers. I got the idea that maybe Ono is like something society spits out, unwanted like trash, or residue.

We are trying to take that and make it less... dangerous? Toxic?

Honestly, it's not much of an idea. Sorry if it bothers you, I could refrain from posting things like that.
I don't mind you posting things like that, but you really should include the explanation WITH the original post in the first place. Otherwise, people don't know what you're talking about. Personally, I find that idea interesting, but we don't know enough yet to see whether that line of thinking is correct or not.

...did we indirectly cause her to make a contract when we stopped that turfed war?
I'd say there's a chance Kyubey contracted her just to make our life harder, but with Ono being the contract bait she is, that just means her chances of getting contracted would've gone from 90% to 91% due to our actions.

Changing vote in case something crazy happens while I'm sleeping.

Shouldn't we confirm what Megane's exact state is first before following any suggestions? That particular part of the vote feels a little odd though it could just be wording.

Probably should.

But I don't think we should even be timestopping just yet either; there might be a chance it's unnecessary.

[] Get within range of Ono; check grief levels.
[] Ask for suggestions.
[] If Ono isn't clearly grief clean nor critical, ask for time stop and check on her, unless other plans are proposed.

OK, Sabrina has gummed up all decent avenues of approach. I have no reasonable approaches that can continue the conversation tonight.

We do, however have one piece of ambiguity that we can use as leverage: The meeting tomorrow. Specifically, the time that we were to meet was never defined.

Set the time as "first thing in the morning", where we can get done with breakfast and be heading over there around the time we're normally waking Sayaka up. We adhere to her request, and give her top priority for the day. If she lives with her parents, even more fun hijinks.

There's lots of ways to play it, but it's mainly a way to manipulate our relative positions by giving her (sort of) what she wants. Technically I'd want to add a whole host of modifiers, but I'm just going to trust that Firn can get the gist of my intent here.

[x] Continue scan of area until we locate Ono.
[x] Verify residence (and possible other residents), and grief levels.
-[x] If grief levels are excessively high, consider alternate options for dealing with it now. Confer with Mami and Homura.
-[x] Otherwise..
[x] "Right. Well... Hope we can get the misunderstandings sorted out when we get together next."
[x] "I'll see you tomorrow morning."
-[x] If she objects, we can of course see her right now. But otherwise we'll do as she requested, and meet her tomorrow. First thing in the morning, so that there's no (well, minimal) chance of other events getting in the way again.
-[x] Be vaguely oblivious to attempts to change the meeting time.
[x] Plan to get up early enough that we can meet her before she leaves for school tomorrow morning.

Vote tally:

[x] Right, fuck it. Homura, let's go.
-[x] Flagrant Timestop Abuse Go. You and Homura go right up to Ono in stopped time and check her Soul Gem if possible without dragging her into stopped time, and we'll then make a judgement call on whether to drop out of time-stop in front of her or just leave her be. Best not to overthink this before we get there, though. There may be strange circumstances surrounding her present condition that we may not be able to predict.

[x] Ask Mami and Homura what to do.
-[x] She won't accept my help, or my apology, but I can't just leave her alone or it will literally kill her.

[x] Follow any suggestions they have so long as it has something to do with helping Ono
[x] If they have no suggestions, ask for time stop, then go directly to Ono to see what's her situation.

[x] Speak to Homura and Mami
-[x] She's not being cooperative and she's not accepting my apology. I think I've offended her and she's refusing to believe me or take me seriously.
-[x] I'm really worried that she's going to get herself killed unless we do something to stop her.
-[x]I really don't want that to happen.
-[x] What I feel like doing is flying over there in timestop, bringing her into timestop, telling her that we have graciously made sure not to interfere with her 'busy schedule' by doing so, demonstrating to her how low on the powerlevel scale she is, informing her that she's privileged to live in a city controlled by magical girls who are willing to help her despite how abrasive she's being, rather than just about every other city on the planet where she'd be kicked out or murdered simply for being competition, that unless she takes care of her gem, grief will accumulate exponentially, leading to her risking herself and those around her, whom I'm currently more concerned about, until she dies, that this is why most magical girls have a minute life span and that until she gets over her own ego and accepts our help, we're going to hunt her down and forcefully help her to keep the civilians around her safe.
-[x] But that's probably spite and annoyance talking and I'm trying to be less pushy. For all I know, she may really be busy and I don't want to sabotage people's private lives.
-[x] Do you have any thoughts?

I want us to be waiting by her bedside holding a Western breakfast for when she wakes up. Bacon, eggs, toast with butter and jam on the side with a tiny little spreading knife, fresh fruit, glasses of milk and orange juice, and a Sabrina who's been looking at you while you slept, apparently. Her face will become, for a brief second, a thing of beauty.

The gist of Kine's plan isn't a bad one. Though the lack of timestop is concerning and I would like Homura's or Mami's input regardless of the condition of Ono's gem. Also some redundancy and odd word choices but that's a good deal less important.

Kine's vote and Kai Merah's vote aren't incompatible. I believe Kai's has a better stopping point though. We have more information and can make a better informed decision, at which point Kine's plan is still a valid choice.

I'm not sure. She really didn't want us coming over tonight. Why would the morning be any different? I think actually meeting up at her house will be a no go. On the way to her school maybe. Still, I guess saying it could show that we're being completely serious about this? Either way, I'd also like to stop the vote at when we see the situation with Megane.

I think asploding a magical girl's house also counts as rudeness to her.

I do wonder why she refused to let us come over to her. I'd like to think that she isn't that spiteful. So either she's very busy with something or something is up with her home life.

Still think that DracoDracul's vote would work better with asking for suggestions after we find Megane. We're probably going to want to ask what they think we should do once we find out her grief level anyway.

Just a note: "Plan to get up..." is just voicing the intent, not an indication that we're moving into a timeskip or anything. The stopping point for the vote isn't much different than any of the others.

Mura's other comments are reasonable. Using Draco's vote as a sort of "first step" is viable.

I have no counterarguments to make, and am tired, so I'll just see how things look in the morning.

Actually I think Muramasa was talking about when we find out what Megane's grief level and situation is.
