We should try to speak with it at night. That's sure not to make Mami question our sanity. Question our sanity more.

"Who is dreaming? A dream's not a dream to the person who's dreaming."
Yeah do we really need to do that to poor Mami? She already has so much to deal with.

We should really expand a bit on why we don't think this is just our powers at work; something like -

[] This wasn't the first time I ran that test; I made the same barrier the same way earlier, and didn't encounter anything unexpected. I'm shelving that line of research as a precaution, but I don't it was the cause. At least, not the only cause.

You know, maybe if we just hold the feather around it will say enough invisitext that we can figure out what it is.

What could possibly go wrong?
[] Lick feather.

If the feather was actually a mundane feather, would that mean it's owner can actualy invisitalk to us any time they wish, and are only sending messages when we show the feather to troll us?

[] It doesn't feel like my powers. And I certainly never intended for any of this to happen.
[] It's not the first time I made the barrier. I didn't make it any differently and there weren't any feathers then.
[] I'm not sure whatever made the feather is even responsible for what's going on. It could be someone trying to tell me something, maybe give me a warning.
[] It could just be an elaborate coincidence, or even intentionally placed there to sow doubt.
[] What I do know is you are my friends. I have no intentions of hurting any of you.

I'm not really happy with this, but I've been staring at this vote for almost two hours. If someone could pick this apart and improve it, I'd appreciate it.

Poor Homura :(

She finally, after all this time, sees a glimmer of hope, a way out, that maybe death isn't inevitable, that she can hopefully live her life out fully without hunting for witches forever, that she'll be able to actually take care of Madoka.

And now she's thinking it's going to all come crashing down, because of course something bad is going to come of this, it always does.

She was even starting to hope, too. Probably why she's so cold; she doesn't want to make any mistakes this time around, not when she might actually succeed.
Hormura needs a lot of hugs, and therapy if she is to survive this, I want to hug her so badly!

Agh! You made me actually look closely!

Ideas time!

I might have brought it up as a possibility before, but unless the feather was planted as a friendly warning or just to cause paranoia, I think it's an unintentional 'tell', a side effect.

My guess is that Feathers can manipulate other people's magic. It blocks Oriko's visions; Oriko sees feathers. We were creating a 'portal' into a another World (and that world), so Feathers extended on that concept and brought some 'information' from another World/timeline into this one.

This would allow Feathers to not be affected by timestop, too.

Does this sound feasible so far?

What do the different colours even mean?

...I don't understand. And on that note, have some more "manly Kyuubey". :V

This method of contracting with little girls has been in the Armstrong family for generations!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!! WHY DOES THIS THING EVEN EXIST?!!
