[] Well... we could just heal up your arm a little and speed up your recovery, but not so much that it's out of the ordinary. How's that?
[] If she agrees, heal her arm a little to speed up her recovery. Don't take too much time, though; we're on a schedule.
[] I was thinking we could heal Kyosuke either before we finish out visit, or sneak in tonight. What do you and Sayaka think?
[] Either way, proceed to the hospital, answering Hitomi's questions (within reason) or reassuring her as necessary.
[] Allow Sayaka and Hitomi to direct the visit with Kyosuke. It's for their sake, not yours.
This does not deal with the problem that many people (and Homura) are worried about, namely that Kyousuke will develop romantic attachment.
We should probably also mention timestop if we plan on using it to heal Kyousuke (i.e. to give us enough time and to prevent doctors/nurses from interrupting).

We'll be healing Kyousuke's unhealable hand too. Heal a few other kids and the hospital can assume they were visited by a wandering kami.
...Aaaaaand mindwipes.

Or we could just heal Kyousuke bit by bit, too. Make his injury 'healable' by normal doctors, then help it along so it doesn't take long. CON: Repeated meetings with Kyousuke.

I didn't include the beginning of healing next time because I didn't think we'd get to it.

I really don't think the mindwipes are that horrible. They aren't reduced to drooling vegetables, they just forget any magic related events they knew of. We'd rather it doesn't happen to close friends, but keep in mind that we usually trigger mindwipes without a thought. We fly around on black wings or in a jet all the time and jump around on rooftops, and don't even get me started on the number of wipes Sendai must have caused. It really isn't an issue when it's just strangers who we didn't want to be informed about all this anyway.

Going back to the witch thing...

I'm pretty sure that - while verging towards being a No true Scotsman fallacy - everyone of us can agree that we are not a Wicked Witch.

Right?

(I mean, yeah, I'm equally sure that a good portion of us would agree that we're Totally Wicked, and another (somewhat overlapping) portion believe we are some kind of Good Witch, but still.)

PRO: None, he gets along just fine with a miraculously healed hand.

Oh, there's another option for Hitomi. "I don't know, it just happened."

I never really understood the objection. If it happens we can shut down a romantic attachment easily.

I wonder if Mami or Homura have any capacity to use magic to obscure our faces -- those two in particular, because the one we know has the ability to (Kyouko) I'd imagine is well and truly off the table in that regard.

If so, we might be able to do some funny-business with doctor/nurse outfits (actual doctor/nurse outfits, none of that fictional silliness) and obscuring our faces, if we're worried about Kyousuke getting attached to us. (And if we do time-stop, perhaps we should make sure that we -- if he ends up being aware during it -- have some music ready. Ask Hitomi and Sayaka what he likes prior to plan execution?)

...Aaaaaand mindwipes.
Given the circumstances, unless the little carbuncle decides to go after Hitomi and Kwyjibo with it too, that might actually work out for the best as far as normalcy goes.

By mindwipes I mean that if we go on a healing spree, we don't need to make any sort of excuse: KB will take care of that.

EDIT: ^That.

We have magic to obscure our identities too, you know. It's not comfortable, but it's workable if disguises are what we choose to go with.

Sabrina the Totally Radical Wicked non-Wicked Witch?

Sabrina flies over the river on Grief-Wings, doing a skateboard trick as she does so, eventually sticking the landing with an earth-shaking WHUD and grief-speakers saying "Tubular!" in a video-game-announcer-voice.

We are more Western than the rest of the cast.

I see no reason Mami shouldn't be able to make masks out of ribbons.

If Homura can't shut down romantic attachment, nobody can.
I'm fairly certain that's backwards. Homura just had no idea what to do with having a boy crushing on her, so she didn't put him down and moved on. I imagine she kind of tried to ignore him, which wouldn't have helped, what with her 'mysteriously cool' persona.

Basically? Sayaka and Hitomi will dislike us for stealing their dreamboat. Even if we turn him down instantly, there will still be resentment. Picture the scene, Sayaka is at Kyouske's house while he practices

Kyouske: Sayaka? There's something I wanted to ask you about, something close to my heart.
Sayaka: be still my beating heart What's that Kyouske?
Kyouske: Well, I've got a crush on someone.
Sayaka: soon you shall be mine Oh Kyouske...
Kyouske: Could you introduce me to your friend Sabrina?
Sayaka: AAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Well, at least we don't have to worry about the orchestra coming to town.

Still, we can just obscure our faces with ribbons or grief, lie about what we are, and be no worse the wear for it.

Also, since there seems to be some doubt, do you guys think we should include the healing this vote (if Hitomi agrees) or do you suppose we won't make it to that this vote?

I'm really liking how quick at this stuff Hitomi turned out to be. We should recruit her as our science buddy, she'd make a great labcoat wearing scientist. Probably keep her away from the blast zones though, she's squishy.

I don't know how much you remember from school, but kids like Kyouske can be really hard to discourage. Sometimes flat out telling em isn't enough. We could get rid of him, but it would take time I'm loath to spend on him. I'm honestly considering asking the koobs the mindwipe him at this point.

If it gets bad enough we are capable of personally enforcing a restraining order of up to a hundred meters.

Kyousuke gawked at the three doctors that came into the room.

One stood tall, and wore a paper bag over his head with one eye-hole.

Another wore a strange ensemble of oddly-shaped hat and monochrome make-up. Their yellow-toothed smile sent a shiver down the boy's spine.

The last of the doctors was wearing a proper suit with a hat and a
ridiculous scarf, none of which seemed to match the other -- at least, not without him wearing them.

The doctor with the bag over his head looked Kyousuke square in the eyes and said, with a very cheerful voice,
"Hello, there; we're here to heal your arm, no questions asked!"

Fair point, but hilarious as that would be I don't want to get Sayaka and Hitomi jealous of our seductive magics and dashing longcoat. It would be a hasstle if they got angry with us over it and they wouldn't enjoy it either.
