Is Hitomi even there? Perhaps we should confirm that?
Almost certainly, but added.

[x]Catch up to the others.
[x]Talk to Mami. Bring up telling Hitomi the truth and the possibility of healing Kyosuke soon since it isn't fair to her or Sayaka to keep her out of the loop, and you think it might be making things worse between them. Let Sayaka know via telepathy, and ask if she wants to be there for it or to tell Hitomi herself if so.
[x]Call to confirm that Hitomi's going to the hospital too.
[x]When we reach the hospital, after we've talked to Kyosuke for a while...
[x]Encourage Sayaka to talk to him if he looks dejected and she isn't.
[x]Ask to have a word with Hitomi in private, depending on what Sayaka said earlier.
-[x]Magical girls are real, and that isn't a good thing. We're one. Demonstrate.
-[x]Tell her everything that Madoka and Sayaka know already about magic. The contract's a trick with consequences that Kyubey intentionally keeps from everyone. Tell her the plan to heal Kyosuke. We think she and Sayaka need to talk about things. If Sayaka isn't there, talk to her about how she feels indebted to her and how we're worried about how it might make things worse. Ask to heal her too.
[x]Pasta for dinner.

[Dinner]
Peanut butter noodles.

With green onions and broccoli or kale, possibly some chicken?
Not sure what vegetables are available in Japan.

It doesn't take that long (about 15 minutes, last time I did it).

1. Soy Sauce! About 1 teaspoon per 2, so 3 teaspoons/1 tablespoon for 6.
2. Peanut Butter! An overfull tablespoon per 2, so 3 'heaping tablespoons', which should work out to about 6-8 tablespoons of mass.
3. Honey! Honeyhoneyhoney good glory honey. Just a bit, perhaps 2 teaspoons for 6.

Mix ingredients in large bowl.

a. Dice chicken into smallish pieces, sautee in 2 tablespoons of garlic. Place 3/4ths? of it in the bowl.
b. Boil noodles (these are the best, but they are Korean and not Japanese. In a pinch, ramen noodles are almost as good).
c. Vegetable?
d. Cut green onions into ~0.5 cm segments. Put half of them in the bowl.
e. Put noodles into bowl, but make sure to not drain all the water first.

Stir the contents so that you cover the ingredients with the sauce. It won't stick to the green onions and probably won't really stick to the chicken and that's fine.

α. Place remaining chicken and green onion on top of the noodles to make it look just that much prettier.
ß. Serve.

Sadly, as its one dish, it doesn't fit that well with the idea of a family-style dinner since you don't have a lot of things to pass around, which is core to the atmosphere of a conversational table which is kind of what we desire out of it, so that all of the involved parties get the chance to associate with one another for at least a fair amount of time without feeling like they're bothering somebody.

:< But I'll be damned if it isn't delicious. I ate 6 days in a row and I still love it.

What are you talking about? A family-style dinner assumes from the start that the participants are on good enough terms to talk about things other than will you pass the mashed potatoes. Passing stuff around interrupts conversation more often than it contributes.

...

We've seen that Mami keeps the rice next to her, so in order to get more the conversation must be interrupted and her attention given to that.
...Or was that a different quest? Consarn it, I've read so many now.

It's more traditional, from what I know of japanese culture*, to have multiple dishes on the table that are passed around or simply grabbed from, depending on the size of the table.

This is conducive to forcing people to open up and talk, which helps relieve the silent tension if there is any.

Which I suppose our group doesn't really suffer from, so hmm. Guess it isn't an issue.

*Fair point of contention, more than half is from constants in anime and manga.

I'm fairly sure Firn is just using the thread for ideas for the food, so there's really not much point arguing the toss on that one. It's not something we have to vote on or come to a consensus with.

Also, background music accomplishes the same thing of making silence not awkward when eating.

So maybe some vidya game soundtracks in the background?

I know, there's supposed to be a technomancer in Japan somewhere.
You've met her.

From Cannongerbil's unnoficial cast list:
Ishinomaki Group said:
Inoue Yuuki: Lady pixels, Silver and Green outfit. This girl's powerset is interesting. We didn't get to see much of it in the scuffle due to her getting Mami'd, but it looks like she can create pixelated versions of items and control them at will. More information is required to determine her exact powers, but if so her powers are essentially grief bending lite, only with magic instead of grief.

[x] Pasta.
[x] Greet the others.
[x] (If Hitomi isn't there.) Apologize for being late. Tell them you had an unexpected run in with a witch, and afterwards met a new magical girl.
-[x] If they ask for details, you can provide general information, that she lives in Mitakihara but doesn't go to the same school. They might meet her sometime soon.
[x] Ask where Hitomi is. (if she's not there, obviously.)
-[x] Telepathy the whole group. You think she needs to be told the truth. As soon as we can.
--[x] You can't say for sure how potential works, but if Kyubey were to approach her today, she wouldn't know anything. That's really my biggest worry.
[x] If Hitomi is with you, start hammering out details on how to go about this. She needs to know today.
[x] Act on it.
-[x] Else, keep an eye on Sayaka. You're probably going to need to talk to her.

I feel the Kyousuke talk can be better addressed once we get the Hitomi issue out of the way. Addressing 'safety' as the primary concern as to why we need to tell Hitomi rather than an issue of 'fairness' as I feel it's prone to more objections from the others and not a good enough reason on it's own to just 'bull through'.

That vote doesn't actually cover telling her at all though, which is a bit of a pointless omission. No reason to put it off once we've hammered things out or it'll be last time all over again.
