The laws of thermodynamics (especially entropy) are basically a way of expressing what causality means in the context of physics. If you can violate the laws of thermodynamics, then you are violating causality. The fact that the cost of our power gives us more power is a fundamental violation of causality.
Then all magic violates causality. The fact that the cost of our power gives us more power just makes that more obvious to the end user.

lets just hope she wasn't a victim of the soul gem collector. Also I could totally see kyoko jaw drop at how sabrina plans to get the money

"You know for a goodie two shoes, you sure do some pretty bad stuff. Yuma dont copy her!"

"But nagisa says shes cool"

"No"

We should get ten other magical girls involved to do the heist properly.

What you did there, I see it.

It's worth noting that we could probably just do something wacky with Magic and get the machine to spit bills into a bag.

Also I support Hotel Meguca. I think the easiest thing would be to centralize living space. Accrue meant of cash and purchasing of an old warehouse for conversion into lofts?

Good idea on the wacky magic.

I prefer decentralisation: that way if one does witch out despite our best efforts the others won't instantly learn the truth. They can assume a witch ate their friend instead of the alternative.

Our best efforts, though, include getting them all to live within a hundred meter sphere of where we live so cleansing can happen whenever.

That...isn't going to work. Sooner or later they find out anyway and things collapse even worse.
Eventually, yes. I'd rather put it off as long as humanly possible though.

So that it's a single point of darkness in an otherwise quite nice life, instead of the crowning piece on a pile of misery and despair.

We'll deal with the 'Hotel Meguca' plan once we make it to May. Until then, we should probably focus on un-limpeting teh Mumi and fixing our strained relations with the other MGs throughout the prefecture. And maybe join Homura for a shopping trip at nearby military bases. Fighters would be nice.

While Akiko isn't much of a priority, I'd rather solve that problem before it becomes our problem again. The last thing we need is her witching out or losing it and telling everything about witches when we're not looking and ruining all our hard work. It's not an immediate priority at all, but we can't forget about her.

But you're proposing sacrificing the efficiency of our operations, and so making it more likely for someone to witch, in order to put off the rest finding out about witching.

We could keep her from witchbombing everyone by breaking it to them first in relatively controlled conditions.

So the heist is a go?

I want NUKES!

How do our powers break causality? We can make whatever we want within 100m, but all magic powers are bullshit.

I really don't see how talking about the tragic circumstances that led to her loneliness will make her less clingy.

Well optimally we can get Mami to have closure over that and unlimpet gradually

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

That will end horrifically. Right now, we can't really safely witchbomb anyone, let alone the groups we don't really know much about. For canon characters, we have the benefit of foreknowledge, but for Firn's OCs? It's playing russian roulette to drop it on them.

I assume you have a proposal to change this situation, then? Or would you rather that they encounter a wild witchbomb?

It's worth noting that Hotel Meguca will need further innovations in Greif Science in order for useful and reliable safeguards to exist.

Let's look at it this way: if someone got Mami to sit down, take some deep breaths and listen to the witchbomb, we'd be pissed because it would break her. That plan would be doing that to a number of people, none of whom we know very well.

Do damage control before the witchbomb ever seems likely to happen via ways we can predict (ie: put aside our distaste and work on fixing Akiko and keeping everyone's gems clean) and put more effort into the witch reversal than the random grief science. As it is, there really is nothing we can do about anyone encountering a random encounter witchbomb that won't make things worse.

Well, Hotel Meguca can't really function if the Witchbomb remains a secret.

All it'd take is one girl turning and then the whole thing would probably go up in flames.

Yeah, "let's traumatize people preemptively so they can't be traumatized later" is a pretty shit idea when applied to the main cast, and only becomes shittier when applied to people we barely know with unknown hangups and triggers.
