Oh man. Kyouko's gonna beat the shit out of us, if we only use our hammer.
But if we use grief it won't be much of a spar either. Make some limit to our grief use, so that both sides have a challenge?

Yuma can heal the loser - Sabrina most likely,if we only use the hammer - later and we can field the healinig costs.
Short of killing or gem breaking and the more gruesome things like dismemeberment for Yuma's sake, I see no need to make any real exceptions.
But the point behind us sparring with bestgirl is that we suck at actually using our weapon.
'Cause we might get knocked out of range and go catatonic. That would suck, from multiple angles.
Fair. It's not like we're gonna get killed in a sparring match over bad aim.
I worry about the "incapacitated" language. That may give Kyouko license to start hacking off body parts.
If so, who cares? Yuma's right there. On that note, if Kyoko wants to spare Yuma the gore, she knows how to kick our ass without de-limbing us.

i feel like we should go all out and show her how OP we are
she think we too nice
well let introduce her limb to one of our Grief weapon
let show her our Unlimited Grief Work
You make a good point. Lets go all out on the first or last round, just so she knows we're not actually a pushover. No Witch stuff, but suddenly grabbing her in bands of grief for instant victory seems like a good idea.

I don't think she's liable to cut body parts off someone who just got her lunch and a free seed. Probably wants to avoid traumatising Yuma. No big deal if she does hack a few limbs though.

you say, andnpick your fork up again.
Missing space.
with Yuma.

finally leaning back,
Missing words?
Maybe some of niceness 'll come loose.
Missing word.

We jelly.

Question.
Can we spam our hammer?
Yes. Actually, we can totally do the Emiya thing and use one sword hammer in each hand and replace them every time they get destroyed knocked out of our hands.

Err . . . what happened to the idea of this just being sparring? Like, practice, friendly let's-beat-each-other-up-to-ease-the-tension sorta stuff?

Let's not forget, Kyouko gets the heebie-jeebies from our grief-y powers.

Why don't we just hand them to Yuma? Excuse is simple enough- they're valuable, don't want to break them over a spar.
For a moment I thought about shielding our Soul Gem, maybe telling Kyouko to do the same, but Soul Gem break is not something that happens like, ever. By accident, at least.

Sabrina: *Encases Soul Gem in grief, +1 protection against sudden death.*

Kyouko: "Why are you doing that?"

Sabrina: "Uhh..." *Sabrina is indecisive.*

Player Kyouko press X to learn a horrible truth of meguca life.

first of, let beat the ever living angst out of her
she thing we are too nice and stuff
so we KO her the first second the match start
after she see that we ain't no girl scout
then we spar and kick each other butt

I know that the point behind us sparring is that we learn how to fight with our hammer. But does Kyouko know that as well?
It seems likely to me that she will just beat the shit out of us in her current mood and we won't learn anything that way.
There have to be some ground rules. A completely one sided spar doesn't help us learn how to fight somone with our hammer.

Our whole reason, besides allowing her to work off some tension and making friends, for sparring with her is to become better at our hammer. We'll tell Kyoko we rely on our powers too much, tell her we're fighting melee only, and I think she'll find our incompetence endearing, if for no other reason that we can't look down our nose at her while she's kicking our ass.

We don't have that much grief on us right now.

If it's good enough for Emiya it's good enough for us.

We're not that bad with the hammer! We did beat Kirika after crippling her with grief powers and abusing the fact that she was a newbie after all!

Actually, Sabrina hits really hard, she cracked one of Kirika's claws, same claws that can stop lightning 'bolts'.

Now I want Sabrina to materialize a hammer in each hand, flip them over, catch them and warn Kyouko that one hit with one of these might pulverize her. Then Kyouko proceeds to Flawless Victory our ass.

We insist that it was a close fight. We totally were one last clean hit away from winning all the way through.

I'm writing this, and none of you can stop me! MUAHAHAHAHA!

Scene: At Mami's apartment. Kyouko, Yuma and Mami are sitting on the sofas, Sabrina is walking towards the kitchen with a TEAPOT.

Mami: It's just so nice to see you again, Kyouko. I thought you'd never come back. sniff

A low humming rumble is heard from the kitchen. vmmmmmmmm

Mami: Wait, what are you doing? Sabrina?

Sabrina: I'm sorry Mami, it has to be this way! Kyouko, Yuma, hold her back.

Mami: Sabrina! No! Stop! Don't do this!

Mami surges towards the kitchen but is intercepted by Kyouko and Yuma. Triple flashes mark transformations as the pair force her back.

Sabrina: I made a deal Mami. I've come too far and lost too much to back out now.

Mami: I won't let you do it!

Ping! Ribbons surge towards the kitchen, only to be sliced by spears and intercepted by plates of grief. The sound of pouring is heard from the kitchen.

Mami: NO! Not you Sabrina! Never you! YOU CAN'T DO THIS!

Sabrina: I'm sorry Mami, I had to do this. Please try to understand. siiiiip

Mami collapses to the floor, eyes wide and spirit broken as Sabrina finishes the tea.

And that's why we should set the forfeit to be loser drinks microwaved tea in front of Mami.

Or we'll ruin any semblance of her good mood doing that.

Take it from a duelist who knows: OTK's are rarely ever enjoyed by the victim. We pull a stunt like that and Kyouko's gonna be cross for the whole remainder of the sparring session -- which runs counter to why we (or at least Sabrina) proposed this little shindig in the first place. Need I remind:
"Or, hell." You take a moment to consider the time - a little past ten thirty, just enough time, you think. "Do you want to spar? Blow off some steam?"
Let's save the 'let's get dangerous' for if we're actually going to do some super-serious fighting, okay?

Or we can just throw the hammer, than create another one.
We can. Just need to add the spin...
Firnagzen said:
The antimagic dissipates as you fall like a thunderbolt, arms by your side in as streamlined a position as you can achieve, and you can feel another tidal wave of disruption gathering on Kirika's position. Without pause, you pull another hammer from the aether and spin in midair in stark defiance of the laws of physics. You whip your already existing hammer in a circle, and let it fly at Oriko, head first.

She's already sidestepping the hammer throw, but you can see her face contort in pain as the movement jolts her broken arm.

PMAS : Game over. Mami witchout. Press start to restart

Edit : Maybe throw it like throwing an axe? And i saw that!

I think beating the tar out of Kyouko in the one round we don't hold back would net us some respect in a way that being pulped for all five rounds... doesn't. It makes it clear we're doing this from a position of strength. I propose 3 rounds of normal fighting followed by

"Let me show you a little of what I used to beat the Sendai girls."

and a round of unlimited grief works. Then a couple more rounds of normal sparring.
