So, if nothing pops up, tomorrow we can take a trip to Kazamino, maybe ask Kyouko if we can accompany her on a witch hunt, "how's that going, by the way?"; ask her help for a couple of things: Isolate a familiar from the witch and, after killing the witch. watch our back while we try to feed it grief and see what happens; maybe ask for CQC practice; perhaps lichbomb her?

If not tomorrow, some other day, and maybe not try to do all that in one day. Am I missing something?

I guess our 'one day not thinking about Sendai' is about to end.
 
Assuming Rin herself goes to school, a check-in in the morning before school starts might be less disruptive.

Wish we had remembered to get phone #s or something so we don't have to interrupt people when we telepathy them.

Would prefer if we made arrangements to visit Kyoko before we left in her direction. Just seems to flow better?

e: And as much as it might affect her to hear we're meeting Kyoko, we should stop doing this behind Mami's back. Tell her our plans for the morning.

An incident would be going into her territory without letting her know until we run into her. This is just asking from nearby rather than out of the blue and first thing in the morning when we might get a kneejerk "no". I don't see how it's foolish at all.

Hm, did Oriko ever say whether her future changed from "inevitably die before Walpurgisnacht"? Because if it hasn't, I suspect that she wouldn't bring it up. Checking on that probably couldn't hurt.

If Kyouko doesn't want to meet til later, we might want to do a sweep of all the schools in the city for magical girl signatures. We can be insistent if she's reluctant, but we should both let Mami that we're going, and give Kyouko the option to set the parameters of the meeting, instead of just showing up on her doorstep. Also thinking a small talk with Masami would be nice.

As usual: Check the bloody notebook.

Most of this is just early morning stuff. Working on ideas for larger scale plans.

She's prickly about Yuma, so that was an intentional omission. Added the UG line. The Kasamino thing...doesn't matter and works better as is.

So, our grief control limit is 100m (the range of the soul gem), however our sensing limit is about 200m. If we use the Infinity Gauntlet booster to improve that part of our magic, what's our sensing range? Mainly considering for the purpose of scanning this or other schools for magical girls from maximum distance, to reduce the chance of triggering someone's witch-dar.

I see no problem with referencing the fact that our cleansings help Yuma, too. We aren't pushing on the point, just including her in the people we're there to help.

There's no need to bring her up at all. By offering cleanses at all, it's implied, and Kyouko's been rather prickly where Yuma's concerned. I'd rather play it safe and just offer the cleansing, and bring it up if the meeting goes well or if she comes along.

I don't agree with checking the notebook, but the rest is structured right.
We should experiment with sensory-blocking effects with grief, including selective antimagic, before checking the book. If we can make a grief sphere that "blocks observation", for example, that would be perfect.
 
There's a time and a place for science though...and is the morning walk with Mami really it? I mean the science in and of itself is fine and perfectly interesting...this just isn't really the time. It and the notebook will keep for later.

Yeah, that update just kind of...happened. Crisis averted.
 
Yes, that's why I'm suggesting we check the book after we have another science session where we test sensor-blocking effects, sometime later, perhaps this afternoon. We need to try our new insights on barrier-making and finally figure out wtf is up with free-coalescing grief too.
