Can we... hold off on a laundry list for precog? I really, really can not agree to going to Oriko with good intent and then ruining it after by asking her a thousand questions again, many of which are in fact not in the confines of what she's told us her ability can do.

Are we really that socially inept?


We'd be better off asking her more questions about her capabilities first. What kind of starting points does she require to investigate something specific? Does detail help? Does tracing from something or someone she's already familiar with help? Does she have any advice for trying to obtain or use her predictions?

Once we do that, we can tell her that we have some areas we think could use investigation, and then ask her if she'd be willing to look at some of then for us. IF she genuinely volunteers... Then we can carefully phrase our investigative questions to take advantage of her requirements.

-[x]Ask about the Witches.
-[x] We would like to try an experimental healing trick, if she'll help us make sure it'll work.
--[x] Try to create a magic healing item. Apply healing to remaining Oriko injuries.
--[x] If it doesn't work, provide normal healing for any remaining injuries she has that we can manage. Let Homura and Mami know that we're healing Oriko's injuries-but keeping the house arrest for both.

...do we have to do all this next? It looks like this can be cut up as a multi-update to me.

Eh. No objections to taking out everything after the apology here.
 
I can do without the Asunaro line, but we're not really asking her that much. We're asking for anything noteworthy from her visions and hoping she has a little insight to help us prevent witchouts.

That's not a laundry list. That's three things. Two if you drop Asunaro.
 
...I just had a random thought that I can't remember if it's been voiced or not in thread.

What if Sabrina is outside the law of cycles?

Oriko can't really predict us, anything to do with us generally ends up in >black pinioned feathers.

Likewise, the best way to break a closed system is to come from the outside in.

At worst, the Asunaro talk can go down to:

Sabrina: "Homura"

Homura: "yes?"

Sabrina: "About Asunaro."

Homura: "..."

Sabrina: "Well, I've heard about the magical girls there, and what they do. So maybe..."

Homura: "Don't go. Doesn't worth it."

Sabrina: "... Fine."

Well, if it is like that then I don't have problems.
 
Being so scared of Asunaro that one won't even check if they''ll be a problem...How do normal megucas who don't curbstomp deal?
