Alright.
Alright.
forward to me?
I second that. *grabs popcorn*
Reworded the apology but the rest of it might come up- if it doesn't, that's okay too but no reason not to have it. The bluff part isn't making excuses, it's letting her know that because right now she may well think we meant it and be terrified we'd follow through.I am taking a god damned chainsaw to this vote. Seriously.

-[x] Examine a soul gem, a normal grief seed, and a broken grief seed in detail with all senses. Catalog the parts; grief, magic, whatever else you can figure out, any unknowns. What are the differences and similarities?

-[x] Masami/Hiroko - Polite check in. Inform them that things seem to have settled down, and of the suggested handling of grief seeds.
-[x] Kyoko - Polite check in. Inform her the war's resolved, and the Oriko situation is resolved. Don't impose on her.
-[x] Ishinomaki - Polite check in. Summarize situation, and make note of the grief seed cleansing plan.
[x] Check in on Oriko (telepathy). We were going to come visit. Did she need us to bring anything?
[x] When visiting:
-[x] Standard grief cleanses.
-[x] Thank her and Kirika for their help yesterday.
-[x] Sincerely apologize for what you threatened to do to Kirika.
Look, I know we want to read the witch book, to check that stupid shadowrun theory about the negotiations, to check up on all the potential crises, to do all the science ever, to run everything by our two projects' fragile psyches...
Let's just... slow down? The vote had like 3 updates worth of stuff in it. Even the trimmed version above has maybe 2 worth.
We can bring up Asunaro, magical grief healing, reading the witch book, checking everything ever with precog... after. Let's give ourselves space to react.
Second point: Ugo's apology kind of sucks. You don't make excuses while apologizing. You just don't. It just isn't done. Yes, there are things we aren't sorry for. No, we shouldn't bring them up in the process. The threat was awful and we're sorry for making it and not finding a better way. Done.
Reworded the apology but the rest of it might come up- if it doesn't, that's okay too but no reason not to have it.
Do we know that's the reason we didn't argue the Oriko point? I don't see us as succeeding with that short of a fully planned out write-in.There god damn is good reason not to load the vote. It rushes everything. If we had slowed down with Homura we might have gotten a chance to properly argue the Oriko subject. Lost opportunities.
-[] Kyoko - Polite check in. Inform her the war's resolved, and the Oriko situation is resolved. Don't impose on her.
Uhhh this bit doesn't add anything if we're swinging by in the near future.
Do we know that's the reason we didn't argue the Oriko point? I don't see us as succeeding with that short of a fully planned out write-in.
On an aside, might I suggest asking Oriko roughly when the feathers come for her and Kirika at some point? Having a rough idea of when that stuff will go down might help in keeping an eye out for signs that things are about to hit the fan.
When/if we ask Oriko about Asunaro, we should figure out if the memory field is a thing:
1. Decide that if we go to Asunaro, the first thing we will do is announce out loud the things that the memory field is supposed to make us forget.
2. Ask Oriko what would happen in the first few seconds if we were to go to Asunaro.
3. If she sees us talking about the things we're supposed to forget, then we clearly will not have forgotten.
This assumes the memory field is still a thing in PMAS, and that it's targeting the same information. Either of these may or may not be the case.
...and since I haven't actually read Kazumi, I'm a little fuzzy on what memories it's supposed to actually suppress.
Right. We were kind of looking for a reason to talk to Kyoko. Best not to waste it now.
Right. We were kind of looking for a reason to talk to Kyoko. Best not to waste it now.
We're visiting her anyway in the near future. That's kind of my point, yes. But its just one example. Sabrina already has a tendency to rush things, to push people on too many subjects or details at once. We've been called on it, even. Loaded votes do leak through in how we present ourselves.
Last time we asked she "not here"'d us. It's not a safe subject.
The memory field, among other things, made everyone neither see nor remember Kyubey.
Kyubey, upon learning that they were going to erase him from their minds, had this to say:
"This is well thought-out."
'Nuff said, really.
e: If Kyoko's a problem I'll just strike it for now. Could someone explain the objection in more detail, though?

Big votes keep us from being able to react to new information and circumstances intelligently, and kind of make Sabrina a little pushy. They screw with our reaction time, to put it simply.I don't see an issue with just getting on with things. Big votes work and dragging things out just means the same content takes longer.
I think with a sincere apology, taking into account Firn's subconscious intent mechanic, that we will tell her that at some point during our apology. Could be wrong, though. Why aren't we telling her that it's a bluff, or is that implied? It seems a bit like important information.
