That went well.
So now we deal with Fukushima and then lastly Akiko.

About Fukushima:
We should make the same offer I guess, but since they are mercenaries giving them direct access to unlimited grief seeds might become a problem in the future.

We need to learn more about their situation and why they took the offer- and went crazy near civilians.

It might be because we took out Moe by tearing her apart.

Am I the only one that just saw a post from Firn pop up that isn't here anymore?
Something about Yumi thinking that Akiko is her problem now and that's why she isn't bringing it up right now?

Probably, but we're still calling them out on it- and making sure they have a good excuse for going batshit there before we offer them anything. We're not going to support lunatics on their terms, after all.

Since everybody seems to be in a forgiving mood, how much of the wreckage can we forgive due to us ripping Moe apart?

Mind, part of the damage was due to not not!lasers, which happened before Kuvira.

I'll state this one last time. If they're mercs, we can 'hire' them, with condition of exclusivity, to hunt witches and not abuse their powers against anybody else. Pretty much what we want out of every meguca but put in terms that might be familiar with them.

Yumi sighs. "Shall we... go retrieve the Grief Seeds now?" she asks. "And... if you don't mind my asking, what's to be done with Akiko and our... allies from Fukushima?"
We still haven't got Yumi's reassurance that Akiko won't go spare and fuck things up. I guess we address this by having that talk with Akiko?

The Allies probably could be handled with a stern talking to and the offer for cleansing. Akiko is the trouble here: Do we trust the group she previously led to keep her under control? Because we don't have much choice other than downright killing her or taking her with us. Crippling her or keeping her on a coma if we could trust Rin not to heal her, be it out of pity or any other reason she might do so. Furthermore, any "permanent solution" is going to threaten the peace we just managed to construct with these groups.

So, yeah, I don't see much how to avoid just having to trust her group with the reminder that if we have to deal with her again...

And threats won't help in the 'everybody learn to trust everybody' department.
Not so much as threats as a heartfelt request that they keep a lid on her because it's the only thing that can prevent permanent damage, or something of the sort. :p Both working on a framing of being genuinely concerned about her and focus as little as possible on the "or else" bit.

"Let's hope that in the future, we'll only need to see each other briefly for scheduled cleansing, capisci?"

We need to have that talk with Akiko, and soon. Maybe ideally before we set everything else up, just in case theres more complications again. We dont have anyone with mind-healing powers, so well have to make do.... hmm, how do we aproach this/her?

Off topic a bit, but I don't really have time to vote or anything right now, so I'll just put out the suggestion that we should at some point before we leave make it very clear that we don't want any seeds going to Kyubey. I'd personally also take the moment to plant the seeds of suspicion re:Kyubey's motivations - but not enough to lead to a witchbomb.

Something like: "Oh and before I go, I'd like to ask that you don't give any seeds to Kyubey anymore - if you need to stop one from hatching call me instead anytime 24/7 and I'll make sure to be there."
*chorus of why, are you crazy, etc*

"Listen, did any of you know about the truth of the soul-puppet arrangement before you wished? It didn't exactly tell us the fine print, right? I don't trust it half as far as I could kick it. I mean, what does it even do with the seeds, anyway - stop them from hatching? How? If it can do that, why doesn't it just collect them before they hatch and seal them - what does it need us to fight for?

"And where the hell are all these witches coming from, anyway? How do we know it isn't just circulating the seeds around - having us kill one, fill the seed, then taking it somewhere else and releasing it? It certainly didn't mind lying by omission and sending us to fight for our lives - who knows what else it's hiding. We sold our souls to this thing and we don't know shit about it.

"I don't have any answers, but I know that I don't trust it and I know that if it wants something, I want to stop it from getting what it wants. What do you say?"

TL;DR: I want them to not give seeds to QB, or at least be wary enough of it that they keep contact with it to a minimum - no sense letting them relay our actions and words to it when we've gone so far as to talk in timestop to avoid eavesdropping, y'know?

We're already commenting on that- and we can stress that we'd really, really really rather deal with full seeds ourselves.

But I don't want to get Mami asking questions since we know how that'll go.

It knows what we're doing here- timestop is for stuff that we can't explain away or really don't want it to know about.

I'm fine with this as long as we don't stress the much point too much. Let them know we can make the trip anytime in case of an emergency. But don't make them think so much about the fine print of the deal, just put it as that we really don't want to waste seeds.

Fairly sure us starting to steal Soul Gems and taking Moe apart is what got Fukushima all pissed off. Pretty good excuse from their perspective. You know how crazy we'd be if somebody managed to hurt Mami. Admittedly, that appears to be incredibly difficult because our oujo is just too damn good, but still.

We should still confirm that they're not just crazy.

I'm reasonably certain that Ramiel's lasers didn't cause collateral damage until she did that nova burst upon us snatching her gem. Her attacks prior to that point have always been pinpoint accurate, so there shouldn't be any collateral damage.

[]Let Sendai go. All of them as a gesture of good faith. Hang onto Akiko for now until we can talk to her. We want to try and find out what's wrong with her, and help her if we can.
Clarification, If we let all of Sendai go get their grief seeds, how exactly are we going to get them to help us keep the Fukushima girls calm?

Always a good idea. Just trying to keep the notion that they don't have to be crazy asshole mercenaries out there.
[]We're going to wake Fukushima, and talk to them, ask them about how many seeds they have back home.
Is asking about Seeds an attempt to ascertain the state of their hunting grounds? Like asking Koko about Kasamino? Asking how many Seeds they have back home could be construed as kind of hostile, or like we're planning on redistributing their stuff too. They probably won't react well to that.

That too, but they weren't awake for the discussion- we're asking about their seeds to determine if they need the 20 seeds of blood money to survive or not.

And i'm finally finished reading through the quest... while it may have been a rather strange mistake of avoiding it before, at the very least it was a good read for 2 days without a waiting for updates...

Also, am i really the only one who was partially rooting for Akiko, because reasons?
