Seriously, I'm soon going to forget etiquette and start just tagging people.
I already tagged a few. IMO it's not rude if you're asking them to reorder things so they get something closer to what they actually want instead of a voting logjam.

I'm open to PrimalShadow's compromise Offensive plan if it gains momentum.

  • Lvl 1 aqueduct requires 3 tech and 3 econ for 3 progress.
  • Lvl 1 bath requires 3 wealth and 4 tech for 3 progress and one sustainable forest
So at minimum, the investment to form a minimum viable TC requires 3 econ, 7 tech, and 3 wealth, if you have them. Technically, a TC can be formed as soon as an aqueduct is built, but we must worry about hygiene. It is uncertain to me if provinces can use the TC to fund their infrastructure.

Given how long this analysis is in both length and time to do it...I will be doing it over the wiki.

Note it's very preliminary and not at all formatted, but I will be fixing that soon.

Ok so looks like currently we're doing

M restore order
S EJ
S Grand Hall
2xS Highlander war
2xGuild mills
Guild S survey
Forhuch marriage

How does this treat us stat wise?

Ah, okay, MP Support is within top 6.

Uhhhh....we are going to have full Economy, which may or may not start overflowing into Wealth and Martial.

Pretty good.

Yeah I derped and thought we only had 4 secondaries, see above.

I don't think we need the additional secondary RO, right? What could we swap that for?

A third secondary war mission against the highlanders.

Redshore almost became a city without even that, but it wouldn't have been pretty.

Provinces? Do you mean subordinates? I'm pretty sure that we've seen them start building up toward city status before, so I'd say yes, it's possible for them to make cities.

Yes, I meant subordinates, and I meant passive policies rather than their actions.

Exactly the same would apply to a Storm Ymaryn princess. Except that she could probably speak the language and so actually interact with people from the start.

They dont really count as stranger though compared to the almost-nomads. If we want a proper alien perspective about the people enforcing our vague will, the Forhuch bride is the one to choose.

I also sort of enjoy how we dont know much about how hard our cousins went into slaanesh yet, to use the warhammer metaphor from earlier, so I dont really want to collapse that unknown any time soon.

@PrimalShadow If we're sending the levies home, would it be worth swapping Hunt Troublemakers for Retraining?
  1. I actually really like {S} HT in this plan, because it means that our {M} RoO and {S} EJ are better aimed narratively, and mechanically we might get a chance to address problems spawned by the Gilded Age / Overmartial that would otherwise be unavailable.
  2. I would prefer not to spend Martial on Retraining when we are both at War with a large number of War Missions, and may very well be about to get a Martial GA innovation choice.

Looks like pretty much everyone is happy with:

Main Restore Order
Secondary Enforce Justice
Secondary Grand Hall annex
Main Guild Mills x2
Secondary Guild Survey Land

The dispute is between:

Megaproject policy
Secondary war mission x3

Vs

Offensive policy
Dam x2
Hunt Troublemakers

Vs

(Stay on Mass Levy policy)
Dam x2
Retraining x2

Option 1 is the clear leader. It's safe and would likely give extra Dam progress, but might not fully uproot all the HK advances.

Option 3 gives us a real chance of disabling the HK long-term, plus special effects from retraining, but if the levy policy converts extra Econ, we're in trouble.

Option 2 is safe and our genius expects it to clear the lowlands, plus it includes an extra Stability action, but it's unlikely to crack the HK core.

Yes.
Either this if you are fine with the overall winning plan (specifically with the switch to MP Support); or, if you want Offensive/keep Levy, at least switch to Main RO and do something else with extra secondary.

Secondary RO+Main RO is just silly.
Does the income from our actions occur before provinces pick theirs? Like, are provinces able to take Dam actions without starving us?

No. All actions in the main turn apply costs simultaneously, then all apply income simultaneously.
The only things that are kinda exceptions are Stability/Legitimacy stats; I think those apply instantaneously. Maybe. Not sure.

I'm reposting my vote, with approval voting for the third War Mission. Because damnit people we need {M} RoO + {S} RoO like we need a nomad invasion to the face.

Only one. Then they fall back on Expand Econs which are the source of overflowing I mentioned.

Bbuuut we get MP Support on, and we would like it for Dam and Canal.
Hey, show respect, we got 5 prestige for that last turn!

Also, 10 Martial and a brand new March.
