animal crossings are really nice, and preventing cougar deaths would be cool, but I feel like we'd need one every ten miles or so and idk if anyone wants to pay that

but then again, they can also be used as pedestrian overpasses so...
More than just voyages use them. Deer, bears, anything. Although some species prefer under passes to over passes. I'm not sure the radius of effect but iirc a more informative article stated that they were quite effective.

voyages? Yeah, I know that animal crossings are used by animals.

Underpasses i think are preferred by smaller animals who are vulnerable to aerial predation. Though bushes would help w/ overpasses.

I think underpasses are easier to do from the start but overpasses are easier to add? Idk.

@Academia Nut ,somewhat out of the blue maybe, but what do you think about this game's system now, with the experience of running game for a while?
What, in your opinion, did work, what did not?
Did it scale well with the increase of Ymaryn, with the increase of amount of numbers to track, and so on?
And so on. Basically, I'd like to know your opinion of the system, if you don't mind. Thank you for your time.
(And yes, @Umi-san , I remember. I'm working on it, research takes a tad of tiiime)

What in the world made autocorrect turn cougar into voyages.

I read about how one species of bear prefers overpasses, and another likes unsurpassed better. The Netherlands uses these 'ecoducts' quite a bit and its helped save their endangered badgers. These passes also help reconnect habitats and allow for genetic diversity.

My favorite is the fabulous bee. Bee is superior. The bees are those that pollinate and thus hold our lives in their tiny fluffy bumble legs.

Remember to tell the bees everything.

A man spends 37 years planting trees that turns a barren landscape into a flourishing forest.

The longer version of the video on Youtube.

On a planet much like our Earth...

It is a time of great peace and prosperity. The Ymaryn had just won a great war that consumed much of the Fertile Crescent, winning against the Khemetri, the treacherous Highlanders, and the Thunder Horse. Much destruction and tears had been wrought, but this unnecessary war was over at last. Thus, the Kingdom focused inward to start rebuilding as war veterans streamed home back to their lives.

However, great dramatic change will begin to occur, one that will shake the very foundation of history in this timeline as the multiverse intrudes on this particular reality...

So I finally got off my ass to write a potential opener for a fanfic quest, probably a character driven uplift quest.

He simply planted 14 hectares per year... that's... a 140km by 140km of forest per year... for the love of satan, that's amazing.

*Sigh* I hope we see an update this month, and don't get threadlocked delaying the update by a week again.

In brighter news we have advanced about 100 pages since the last thread update.

AN said very recently that he should have one today. It was in the last page or two.

In my experience, comments with tones like this about update rate are not healthy for quests.

Say you're excited for the next update or something instead, maybe?

Sorry to post something off topic, but can someone please link me to the Discord? I've searched the thread's history and all the invite links I've tried were expired.

Ysifugywn watched as the small form of a child traced through mysterious runes on wet clay. It had been two years ago that a parent dropped off the spirit touched girl. As common with such cases, usually the parents will try to take care of their child as best they could. However, eventually they were not able to handle such cares even with the help of local priests.

He expected that the child to be a handful to handle, but once the priests adjusted to the peculiar condition of this child, it turned out not to be so bad, but what was clear that the child was speaking and knowing things that nobody heard of, a whole world of people and great magic unknown to the Ymaryn. At least that what was discerned.

"What is this rune?" The priest asked.

"A triangle," the little blond girl uttered. "I learned that in school today." A school. Exactly what was the function of a school was the focus of much debate between priests, but it was agreed that it was a place of learning, much like a Temple, except it didn't teach the children about their gods. Exactly what was their gods anyway?

"What is this triangle, Zalagym?"

"A shape that has three sides." The priest nodded as he wrote down the new words and definition with his quill. Quite often he literally have to invent new spelling for unknown words. He didn't really know the usefulness of what he just learned, but he figured that with enough study, the usefulness will become apparent.

"What do you mean by three sides, little Zalagym?"

"Ummm....."
