Don't counter the vast difference in combat experience and skill though, nor of body strength. Also stamina, they were very heavily armoured, it's extremely odd that she with zero training and a waifish body, could have the stamina or strength to have a prolonged successful fight in that much armour.

Well, on the 'waif' front, the king didn't recognize that she was a woman under her armour. While she didn't exactly lead the most swole lifestyle at the temple, she does come from the north and nomad stock. So she wasn't exactly some twiggy thing, and had been practicing for about two years at this point.

We have questions about the Heroic Heir.

What stats would we be expecting?

Will roll, but along with a Heroic rating will not have any stats less than Average.

can we establish a trade route to the Khem that doesn't involve the Trelli now?

Some minor stuff, but the route is too much of a pain in the ass to work for bulk trade, so beyond villages trading with each other, the big trade is still better to do via ship and thus through the Trelli.

There may be a megaproject to alter this situation however.

You know, I have an idea, probably stupid but hear me out, at some point in the future could we elect one of the khemetri pharaohs as king? Of course stipulations would have to be put in place, like someone else winning the election means the united realm splits, but if it works, the empire it would create would rivals even some of the greatest of our own history

It might be too late to change the vote's direction, but:

[] [Hero] The battlefield created a peerless medic (Heroic to Genius level medical mystic)

Might have synergy with

[] [Mystic] Get assistance from a temple (-1 Mystic)
[] [Mystic] Search the entire kingdom for someone who might understand her and put her at ease (-1 Mystic, -1 Econ, -1 Wealth, -1 Culture)

Hmm, the only things I can think of is claiming a huge chunk of land and building a huge canal from the Black Sea to the Mediterranean, or some kind of super roads mega project that uses mortar or something similar to create super roads.

Quite the contrary, this quest is explicitly taking inspiration from real-world history (beyond the actions of us players, of course).

Uh what do you mean?

This is Not!Earth. An alternate version of Earth.

There's influenced by history/reality, then there's AU.

For instance, Westeros from Game of Thrones is Not!England - inspired by much of it's history and geography but still very much a fantasy world.

What I'm asking is if this is a fictional, low (or no) fantasy world or literally Earth?

Thus it was that the People gathered together the greatest diplomatic mission in their history, loading up a fleet of longships with all the finest goods they have to offer. Sailing them down the River Hat, they were then hauled across the passes and into Gulvalley, where they set sail down the River Gul, into Khemetri territory. At the end of the River Gul lay a great sea, one said to be endless, and they sailed along the coast south, hopping from town to town until they reached the mouth of another great river and sailed inward.

There is more gradation than that. The geography is very similar to Earth, but also meaningfully different. The cultures are similar, but also still meaningfully different.

There are also may be magic? But honestly there probably isn't.

Ooooh, that could be interesting.

We're masters of terraforming, and they're really good at building real big, put our heads together and we could put together a Wonder of the Ancient World.

I'd actually really like to see a Khemetri Trade Mission to Valleyhome to see how they take our own works. We can do nice megastructures at need, but our real strength is how we shape the land itself to better fit our desires. It's no less awesome to the trained eye.
Khemetri merchant: "Ah, I see the edge of this great forest you have spoken of! Truly the gods have blessed your land to be so abundant and fertile. And to have given you such well-organized trees!"

Ymaryn translator: "Surely the gods are gracious, but it was our ancestors who built the forest, and it is we who maintain it to this day. That is why it is so harmonious."

KM: "No! You mean to tell me that the Ymaryn put forward such labor as to maintain the many miles of forests visitors first see when they enter your lands? I must say, that impresses me more than the beautiful view you have achieved."

YT: "Ah, no, I may have misspoken. The People planted and care for *all* the trees across our entire territory, not merely those we see now."

KM: *after a quick Fermi calculation* "...oh."
