I do not consider it foolish because we do have the Trelli problem of threatening a dominant. I want to head off any stability drops. But I could be convinced otherwise.
I mean... ^^ study actions are improved because of her. Alchemy could arguably provide us with a new dye, or eventually gun powder.

The Trelli are italic-ly threatening our dominant but honestly...? Do they even have access to a fourth, much less half of our markets? No. And if the Trelli are actually posing a serious threat to our dominance it is likely that our provinces would know of it, and spend a secondary or two to correct it, thanks to our Balanced policy.

PEOPLE ATTENTION

We need a minimum of a Main war action to the hathatyn, even if the QM said we only need a secondary.

And Academia Nut, would't the Lord Loyalty raise the original threshould of minimum [Sencodary] to minimum [Main] war action?
.... I mean, if AN agrees w/ that then yes, we need a main war action. Otherwise? No.

Also, @ everyone, why Offensive? It keeps giving us negative, war-oriented traits and takes us off our decent Balance policy. Is it for the purpose of the land-grab?

Really prefer defensive policy, we keep putting off fortification at peace then focusing on warriors when at war, less risk over going over martial and more general defenses.

No, it's because offensive is the most likely to break the enemy assault. Offensive doesn't mean that we go full conquering, it means that we rally our armies to strike the enemy with our full power. Defensive is best when we have/want a long slog of a war, where we have a ton of time to build up our fortifications and sap the enemy's strength.

because yeah, we DO have a plan off eating the hath, and since they were so kind as to allow a casus belli this is the perfect time to smash them with a full 4x war mission offensive.

So that our provinces can help the Hatriver too. I mean if we stay on balance I am fine with that to, but then the secondary war mission skyrockets in importance, beyond it's already near critical necessity.

Don't really care about the kid, I'd like a mystic hero but having an all around great king seems good too.

Founding the march drop our martial in preparation for the offensive policy switch, which will probably result in double main warrior expansion. It also keeps the new nomads away in case they become hostile.

Double war mission to take them out ASAP...we want to be able to expand immediately into their territory before the HK take advantage.

I'm not seeing anyone talking about the fact that we've basically hit cap Econ Expansion. Are we planning to do anything about that, or are people okay with Valleyhome losing True City status?

Actions that should be taken this turn are: A war mission, salt gift to the North, alchemy study (My poor ST Chief got used and taken for a ride), and a policy switch to offense (I want more landgrabs) and a either a main expand warriors/boats. Probably expand boats if we are on offense policy because our provinces will expand the warriors. Also the update implies that our martial hero can't be a proper father and throw himself on the frontlines at the same time.

Honestly, if nothing else, have him be a proper father.

@Academia Nut How likely is it that the provinces take science projects if we do not?

How likely if we do both a Main War Mission and a Main Salt Gift?

We can do a secondary War Mission, We will have to do the trade/salt mission ourselves if we switch, same with alchemy, and the offense switch is free. On offense the Provinces can handle both of warriors and boats without fear of True City popping, due to baby boom.
