I think this should probably be "emigrate" rather than immigrate. Although I could see either reading in some situations.
Emigrate means to leave a nation, immigrate is to join one. In this context, emigrate would mean that Leaf is giving them permission to go join some nation aside from Rock, as opposed to being hunted down and killed. Immigrate means that Leaf is offering to accept them as its own.

I had this feeling back when the last chapter of this flash-forward happened, but it's much more solidified now; I don't like this Hazou. He's exactly what we've been struggling with and against this whole time, ninja who achieve great power and then bully everyone they don't like and/or when they're not getting their way. That's a greater failure than us dying ever could be, in my opinion. Of course, it's AU, and we've got a long way to go before we even see the experiences that shaped him into becoming this person.

It's just kinda sad to see Anakin turn into Darth Vader again.

Initiating hug sending protocol
The Prince of Bitter Nights instructs the shrine keeper to grudgingly part with enough paper to fill your basic SOP. It is, as best you can interpret, astounded by being asked to hold on to the pieces of its servants that you took as combat loot after destroying them. It consented, but it's difficult to know whether it'll actually give back what it considers its own property to begin with.
Our goals cannot be comprehended
There was going to be more here but I let myself get distracted.
One of us! One of us!

Hazō is already setting off so many bombs in casual discussions, what's one more in the centre of Rock?
"I said no."
Gah, FINE.

"With respect, that area is closer to them than to us. It's easier for them to break the river than for us to fix it. If you want this to stick, we're going to have to make an example."
Oh come on old-Hazō, where did your inventor's spirit go? You'd think eight years on from making oceans of the air, you'd be less intimidated by a little missing water.

@eaglejarl @Velorien @Paperclipped Hazou's character sheet says he has 430CP, which I think is his max (?). Is this accurate?
Following up on this, do we have a current count of FP? Has there been refresh since the fight?

Does this 100 XP include the 2 awards posted above? We also voted in a couple training plans that don't look like they were ever implemented.

Yeah I thought Hazou would be letting them emigrate since press-ganging them into joining Leaf after killing their friends and family and forcibly displacing them seems like it would not go super well (this is how you get ninja-terrorists)

Fair point, but the implication is that if they don't want Leaf then they can join some other nation.

A Tweak of Earth Pillar Jump, this jutsu is/is not (NB:QM discretion here) compatible with the additional casting methods described in the jutsu stat block. It lacks the Disadvantage that the generated tags scale off EPJ AB.

If additional Refinement is generated and the Tweak is not compatible with the alternative casting methods, a longer duration (up to 30s) and Reflexive casting are desired.

If the alternative casting methods are compatible, then longer duration (up to 30s), additional Multi-Tag (up to 3x (NB: lol lmao)), higher Effect casting (1.5*AB), and chakra efficiency are all desired.

What would a longer duration look like narratively? The ability to keep generating pillars for the full 30s after one cast?

(This may be obvious to folks who know the rules/can read jutsu blocks; I am neither.)

I wonder if there are any ninja with lisps. How does that affect casting jutsu? Is it stamped out at the Academy? or does chakra have a little wiggle room?

A Tweaked Supplemental version of Living Roots, discards the 3x Effect bonus while the caster is stationary in favor of a strict +Effect to Alertness (since this is intended to be cast on the move), this Tweak is intended to be chained into a Reflexive Supplemental version, as it's not much good on its own.

If there is additional refinement, the Reflexive Advantage, and then increasing the bonus to Alertness are both desired.

Since maneuvers and sprints are harder for technique hacking than attacks/defenses, I wouldn't hate trying one of those? Maybe BRI, now that we know honest attempts to technique hack won't penalize future tries. Getting a better version isn't super likely, but if we do, or get a useful tweak, then that's information that can be helpful for build decisions later on.

That said, thank you Stompy for pitching these, I think they're both be useful towards mobility/awareness, and veterancy.

I don't think that there's a whole lot else to vote on. Given that we got some paper off the PBN I'm less keen on fighting paper wraiths.
