Ok, I'll drop it.
I was thinking something more like "vanished entirely when Toriyama decided to move on, since it went with him", as he lived there in dragonball canon, but...
It's fine either way.

Hey, no worries. Arale and her stuff are things I've never really spent any time on, so I'm not too invested in it and am inclined to just write it off. That said, the bit about Toriyama living there, I didn't know. And that's...actually pretty funny, come to think. That can be sort of a semi-canon, then.

If I may ask @PoptartProdigy , what bits will be in the next update?

I'm writing it now, and it will involve the conclusion to the Jaron Interrupt, the Oozaru training, and your preparation for the Council, leading into that event chain. Once the chain is resolved, I'll cover everything else, leading into your attempt to seek out the Senzus, which will itself be an event chain, closing out the year.

As a more general notice, there hasn't been anybody who objected to the idea to grab Saiyan armor, so if I don't get any such objections by the time I post I'm just assuming you all are cool with it. I'll only call a vote if there's obvious conflict.

In case..objection! Kinda afraid it'd be seen as either aggressive, cowardly, insulting and/or paranoid.

Edit:
Cowardly, not afraid.

I am absolutely fine with us having it in a capsule, because I really, really like the idea of us having backups like this. On the other hand, I really don't want to go around wearing it except on special occasions we vote for, because it's unnecessary, would probably make Kakara uncomfortable with it's implications, and would project a very clear message to the other Sayains that I don't think we should be sending out.

Also, you know, it's more Dr. Slump canon than Dragonball canon, because he doesn't even turn up during the actual crossover, but it is explicitly a crossover with that manga, where he is living in the town, so...
Yeah, I suppose it's more semi-canon even in the original anyway. The main reason I brought them up is because, while most of what the other inhabitants can do is low-scale enough that it would be utterly worthless in trying to do anything to The Enemy, there's enough exotic stuff there that I would not have expected them to be stuck on Earth if something was going to destroy their home.

How long before the Council will we start preparing? At least a week/a few days, right?

Is it possible to Instant Transmission from the library to the training Hall (and the opposite)?

How small capsules do the Saiyans have? Does Kakara have any capsules?

What power level does Kakara usually run around with?

Wait, if the wards can't hide SSJ2 then shouldn't people have felt Jaffur's Kaioken?

If he'd been capable of keeping it up for a moment longer, they would have when the wards overstrained and burst.

It's early spring and the Council will be in mid-summer.

They're both within the wards, so yes.

They have about a hundred, split between the custody of the two Lords while Saiyan technicians (increasingly-frantically, as more and more are destroyed in testing) try and figure out how the living hell Bulma's Dad made these things.

Wasn't it Bulmas father who invented those? And how much do the Saiyans remember of Bulma and her dad, and how do they remember/view them?

What this tells me is that the Cult is largely a positive force for saiyan morality.
Except it's being driven further and further into the ground as a result of general Saiyan society's fixation with violence. Our grandmother Apra is proof that some Saiyans are already intending to use the religion as an excuse to burn heretics.

Or its just a excuse to kill Dandeer remember nobody likes her due to messing with balance of power and becoming house Vegeta's sole ruler. If she was anyone else she'd already be dead.

Can Saiyan Armor actually work effectively when you're fighting at power levels in the hundreds of millions? Or is it more of a cultural thing at this point?

Well, the main thing is this:
Can we carry a capsule with body armour in it? After the Final Flash, Cell hit Vegeta so hard in the back that it knocked the Super Saiyan out of him when he hit the ground but his armour wasn't even cracked, so it's durable enough to have at least some protection even at our approximate power level.
It could just be animation issues, but I seem to remember Vegeta being visibly bruised in that same scene where the armor was shown undamaged.
I'm thinking it might actually be designed specifically to make whatever passive ki protection clothes get to stop them from being destroyed by moving more powerful, and thus scales with the person wearing it, if imperfectly.

@PoptartProdigy, is it possible to apply the mastered super-saiyan training to multiform to extend its endurance indefinitely, then retrain each one back up to the individual limit? Since the Great Ape and masque forms are being treated as fundamentally different beings with independent stats in this system, can they be sent off and operate under their own power instead of requiring a splitting of the originator's ki? Can a Saiyan be fitted with more than one masque to chose between?

Hey, two (three? four? five? dozen? kind of my point) of the prophets were Namekian.

Also, what's it going to take to get the ki-sensing prodigy seer who routinely visits it to the point where they can sense wherever Gohan transported the Earth off to when he pretended to destroy it?

...So we need to be at least on the moon when going SS2, having already thrown a Ki blast further out into space as a Hit target for IT, then transform and immedietely leave the planets Area of Influence. Probably stop by on another planet or something. Drop the Transformation then sneak back.

All the while having used Multiform so that we can prove that the other SS2 is not us, because we are here, not out there.

Yup, that does sound an awful lot like what Raditz is doing.

Though, for narrative reasons I suspect that it's Betarel who is going to suddenly show up as a surprise SSJ2.

I don't know about mastery, but familiarity with every style would be essential if you want to develop an effective pacifist style, mostly because you need means to counter, redirect and shut down the enemy no matter HOW they attack, rather than just defending. You need a win condition, whether that's turning attacks against them, or draining their ki to exhaustion.

The Piccolo style is already the generalist.

If you want to come up with a specialist style it may be wise to tap her competitive advantages of being extremely powerful, a max-potent seer, a pacifist, and a prodigal ki-senser to work on developing time manipulation and spirit bombs, at least until she gets high enough to work on invisibility.

If it can be done quietly, fine, but I'd rather not give any public signals that she is militarizing. It never seemed to serve any purpose beyond being easy to draw and avoiding the need for the fighters to end up naked every time they got in a high level fight, anyway.

Largely cultural in that it sends a huge message, but it does provide some measure of protection. It'll keep scratch damage a non-issue, and to an extent lessen larger injuries. It's not a game-changer, though, not by any stretch.

The copies wouldn't be able to do that, no; they're dividing up a single ki pool, not creating a bunch of new, smaller ones. Masques too are actually a transformation and a power limiter rather than a whole new body, so they would still split the ki. Great Apes, on the other hand, do draw from a separate source, so if you split off a single copy who then went Oozaru, both you and the copy would be at full strength. You cannot be fitted with multiple Masques.

Eh? Prophets?

You're pretty sure that that's Earth, huh?

I think a question needs to be asked first: What kind of message does it send?

"Historically, this armor was an affectation by Prince Vegeta as a means of holding onto both his Saiyan heritage and his royal blood. Since the Exile, the Lords Vegeta have used this armor to reinforce their claim to the royal throne by drawing a direct parallel to Prince Vegeta. While other Saiyans wear this armor if they intend to fight somebody, to wear it outside of combat sends a very definite message of heritage, tradition, and legacy. In my case, wearing the armor in a situation where no combat will take place says this: 'The Lords of Vegeta may traditionally lay their claim to the throne, but my blood and my station are as noble as theirs. By wearing this armor outside of the battlefield, I am declaring my intent to lay my claim as Princess of the Saiyans, and dare any who disagree to force me to retract it.' Doing so lends a distinctly royal weight to my decisions and words, one which strikes with particular force amongst Vegetans and decided controversy amongst Gokun. Among Ancestor Cultists, I am already a demigod; wearing this armor will only add to that. Finally, the armor will lend a distinctly martial tint to anything I say.

"In short, to wear this armor outside the battlefield is to declare myself royalty, lending my words all the weight and impact that that implies. It also tinges my words with a silent promise of violence."
